I'm with you Thunder.  Sometimes I just crave a good salad.  It is almost a healing feeling eating something healthy like that.  I should eat them more often.  Man that dip sounds great.....  Have you posted that on here before?

Ha! I got a LOT of dip recipes - I think next year I'm just going to mix all the dips together and see how it turns out, because that's what it feel like I ate.

Mid teens here on the way to 27.  Sounds great.  Now nice weather till spring would be great.  We have good ice now so I guess some cold to make it a little safer would be ok too.  Not much going on here which can be a good thing.  Watched the Gophers last night.  They looked good and it was a fun win.  Good luck to Claeys.  They are sure putting blame in the wrong place by making him the scapegoat.

Morning all, same ol grind here, packing up for a first time in years trip to LOW. Looking forward to it! just got done putting in bunck supports on the rear bunk, they make them with asian people in mind I think. Not big hearty Norskies. Me and my son nick will be cuttin out saturday Morn. Gonna be fun to be back up there.

Boar you might want to check with the resorts on the road. The only one I have heard of so far is Adrian's letting out 1/2 tons not pulling a wheel house. They are reporting 12-15" of ice on the lake.

We are still a huge chunk of ice in Brainerd. The side streets and parking lots are horrible rutted up and refrozen slush and my driveway is 3/4 of an inch of glare ice. I used a whole bag of the good salt stuff and hardly noticed a difference. 30 today but then back to colder temps coming too.

 Grinding away here on the shore of upper red lake. Drove home in the wrath of the storm sunday eve. 3 1/2 hours from deer river to home 76 miles Averaged about 23 miles a hour. Well worth the trip  though.  2 of the grand  sons got 125 four wheelers.  One is 5  the other 9 and the owner manuals say no kids under 16? To funny. 4 and 0 at pool last night  so that was a hoot. be nice to win 20 in a row. Have agreat day guys just starting to snow here.

morning folks! last day for the year as jerbait would say in paradise!!!!!! really getting fired up to head nort, that first trip looking down that spearhole!!!!!!!!!!!! wont rest till i be sitting looking at that decoy!!!!!!

tomorrow i get a new step daddy and 2 step sisters i guess!!!!!! first thing he needs to do is give my brother that bloody beating he so rightly deserves!!!!!!

weather appears like it will cooperate so  . ya'all have a good day!

On Monday they were glare ice from Fort Ripley north. Intersections are still real icy and side roads horrible but the highway seems pretty good now. I haven't heard much from north or east of us though. Just like the ice situation we were talking about, road conditions seem to be a secret too. Any Walker or Bemidji people on here that can answer this?

since my mom and him are high school classmates i'd suspect there my age, 30 plus 29 more years of experience or a bit younger. and not sure never met them............yet!!!!!!!!!
