Driving in Rochester more sloppy than dangerous today.   Took wife to mall for salon thing.

I was surprised at driving conditions being not nearly as difficult as I was expecting.

Wow Reb! Youse guys over dare really know how to do it up right!  :happy1: We're sorta fortunate here. It was awful last night during chores. Since our yard basically has few flat spots in it, it was doing chores a la crashed ice. By about 10 p.m., everything had a layer of slush over it and you could actually walk. Same this a.m. About 32, damp and slushy right now.

Top of the morning to ya boys!! Had 22* this morning. The warm up is beginning. I wish this was as warm as it would get until spring. Seems like it turns everything to a mushy mess then refreezes and becomes hard as a rock. Just another day in paradise. Have a good day all!

I am with you JB.  The warm is nice but hope it doesn't make a mess.  Man Rebs it sure seems like you have had a lot of freezing rain etc. down there this year.  It was nice here so was surprised to hear about your weather.  Just had the Honey Nut Cheerios.  The are not bad.  Fills me up more than a banana does.  Although my kepboard is getting white spots on it from my milk splashing whilst I talk to you guys.  I remember when I took my first computer class the teacher said "there will be no drinks at your desk, a new keyboard is $200 and we don't want any spills on them". I always wondered if they were really $200 but never wrecked one so didn't find out....

We had 23 about a hour ago, mid to upper 30's for the end of the day, they're sayin. Spent a good part of the day yesterday getting the new desktop up & running so we didn't get out fishing. Maybe today. Did make it to Cheap Burger Night & seen a few familiar faces. Enjoy your day guys

Mornin' from swampville. 27* and sunny. Barry, we set a record for the 4th wettest Summer  down here last year. Hope to heck it doesn't repeat! No plows came by yday in this allegedly wunnerful town to clear the slush, so now it's a frozen mess of chunks, hills, and valleys.
Think with the taxes we pay in this hoighty-toighty town they could get off their azzes and hit the residential streets. Shouldn't take ya too long to "organize" that snoopy pole and two lures, smurfy. You'll be done in a jif. I know what ya mean about the lifting stuff though; after my back surgeries I had to have help lifting to take a whiz.  ;D  Have a good day, guys.

Came across this news article this morning from KFGO in Fargo, reprinted in the National Deer Alliance weekly newsletter. Should be informational for deer hunters.

(Hope I got the attachment to get included.)

After morning all, 41 here at the moment....awsome, bring on spring.  I was at the big h store last weekend and picked up veggie seeds and some starter soil, sure would like to get em started downstairs under the light soon.  I have a maple Tree trunk / stump that is 7' tall that I haven't cut up yet, last spring it was super juicy so thinking on tapping it this spring, can't hurt I guess..

He might have a case of the fireball flop.  But he looked pretty good the last time I saw him.

Im all good, lmao! all of the abouve. lotsa pans in the fire sometimes. but im good!! im on call this weekend, so no fishing or fire ball, but im gona do some sleding, I got the machines running last night. so were gona do a first season run. gona try and get some jerky done this weeknd to. maybe some baloney. we'll see.this the first winter running propane, I tell you if ya if ya wanna get in shape for a elk hunt, run a propane hose for a winter heating season. holy crap, its amazime how no one realizes the effort it takes to deliver propane. take a look at where peoples tanks are located soemtimes, then add in the snow, or the plow burms, and the weight of the hose, the longer the distance the heavier the hose gets. somedays im just spent and sit on the couch and fall asleep by 8 pm.  so if ya burn propane, be nice and clear a path. garuntee, you'll have better service. lol.

Morning Boys! TGIF!!! 34* here this morning. The deer seem to be happy with the warm up. Planning to fish both days this weekend. It will be my last weekend of fishing for 3-4 weeks. We are going start cutting firewood, so that will take up our weekends for awhile. Have a good day all.

Mornin guys! 35 & it looks to be foggier than yesterday. Some light rain / freezing drizzle in the forcast for today & tomorrow, so we probably won't be tryin our luck :Fish: today. Messed around here & didn't wet a line yesterday. Nobody was out on the bay either. Did check out a couple of the nearby PA's & 2 of the 3 were starting to get tore up. Don't believe the warm wet conditions will do them much good over the weekend either. Hope you enjoy your Friday.
