Good morning All.  52 and smoggy here.   Rained just enough to make things wet.  Working for a bit this morning and then installing boat seats in the boat.

I did get yard cut yesterday, took 2 hours 20 minutes instead of one hour 45 minutes. It was long. On tap for today is to try to straighten out the garage so I can rip everything off the West wall next and then insulate-sheet that wall. Could be a trip to the dump on that one. Might even clean the boat and get it water ready today too. More coffee, then Craigslist, later....  :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys. Awesome to see your granddaughter is going in the right direction now Glenn after all she has been thru. It is 49 and gloomy here this morning. Sounds like that will be the high too. We got .27" of rain overnight. Chance of some more throughout the day I guess. The wife is at work and I am going stir crazy in the recliner. The wife is bringing the cat to see the vet this evening. Going to see what options there are I guess to make sure he stays calm. Have I good one boys.

Morning boys.  Slept late and it felt good.  We too just got enough rain to make it wet but hardly registered in my gauge.  High of about 60 here today and looks like we may get some more rain around noon.  Maybe I will hit the landfill today and get rid of some stuff and check in with the guys there. I got the 3/4" granite in my new garden tubs so am waiting for them to get their black dirt pile in.  Should be any day now.  They had to work on their screen first.  It is hazy here too.  They sky is orangish.  I had enough rock left over to spread it in my boat shed and it covered it nicely.  It is a garage in a box from Big M and when the fabric went south I put steel on it and just leave the ends open.  Makes a great shed.  Now it won't be muddy anymore.  Good news on the Granddaughter Glen.   :happy1:  Later boys. Good luck with the cat JB.  What is his name?

I get the black dirt from the Olson Brothers Construction on the east edge of Baudette.  It's the nice fluffy stuff that has been sifted on a screen.

Mornin' comrades! 56 at choretime heading for a high in the low 70's. Got the lawn finished last nite. Ran the mower out of gas with about 2 minutes worth left to mow. Took forever. Grass was long &lush so had to run over a bunch of of it twice. Should go faster next time. Looked at some of the corn planted when conditions were marginal the last week of April, where it wasn't in standing water anyway. The good news: The corn is coming up. The bad news: Stands are not perfect. Guessing we will soon hear the refrain, "Well, I did everything right." No, if you had, your corn wouldn't be missing several thousand plants per acre. Looks like the weather should cooperate next week again so people with soybeans left to plant can finish up. Should be able to get the garden going at the ranch too. Good luck on the cat jb.  Great news on your granddaughter glenn!  :happy1:

Good morning all.  A bit brisk out this morning.  41 with a 12 mph nw wind already.  Was planning a bit of fishing when I was done with work but at this point that might just wait until another day.  Good day to do some inside chores.

Morning boys. 40 here and cloudy. Heading for 63 today. Little extra breezy blowing off of the lake today. That should keep us cooled down a bit. Just another day of recliner life. Have a good one boys.

I did get one apple tree poked in the ground in the back yard yesterday. Need to do two more today in memory of a couple of local sportsmen's club members we lost recently. Going to toss the four-wheeler on the tandem trailer for tomorrow's run to Bemidji. Going to grab a boat trailer that has been sitting at the schoolhouse for the past eight or nine years doing nothing. It's going to get cut up into pieces that can be used for other welding projects. Haven't cleaned garage yet, darn. Still have a few bags of Round-up ready beans left over for food plots, pm me if you're interested. $15.00 per bag. Have a great day, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin gents, 42 @ 1st peek here & it'll top out at 63, I'm hearin. A little breezy here too but nothin like yday. I dumped what looked like ~ .45" out of the gauge earlier. Sure was a lot of people headed north yday & 3/4 of 'em had either a boat or an RV behind 'em. Looked like there was 6-8 vehicles over at the resort when we left around 8 yday & GR was busy too. Got a couple little indoor projects for early & will go from there. 'Bout it here, have a good 1.

Morning boys.  48 here and wet.  Must have just rained some cuz the deck is soaked but not much in the gauge.  Just enough to prevent me from hitting it hard outside right away.  LOL  Have another cup of coffee is in order.  I will get the camper ready for another weekend out there.  Will be 68 here today with a breeze they say.  Nice weather to have a fire.  Just read an article in our paper about a guy who has been breaking his restraining orders to stay away from his ex.  He was still harassing and threatening her plus more.  He could have received as much as 54 years in prison but he got a couple of weeks in jail and a couple hundred dollar fine.  I wonder why there is so much crime????  Disgusting.  I hope word gets out and something more is done about it.  TGIF!

Exactly my point Mike.  The wife and I both just shook our heads when we read the article.  I don't know either of them.

Mornin' comrades! 46 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 50's.  Need to gaze at more fields today to see how they're coming. Cool today so not much drying going on. Some farmers got the rotary hoe out which is good. Gives them something proactive to do while they're waiting to replant or finish planting.  Could take the Gator for a spin but will still be driving around water hazards on a lot of fields yet. Prolly won't get real serious about that until Monday. Still battling the alien, a spring cold that keeps hanging on. More glenn naps would help.

Just got a yard and a half of nice black dirt and it is already in the new planters.  I will take a couple of advils and take a nap after lunch too.
