Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 40 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 70's. More soil sampling on tap for today. Must've contracted the alien when I was at the casino over the weekend. Felt crummy yesterday, coughed a lot & had the chills. Seems like a quick hitter so far so hopefully I get over it sooner than later. The warmer temps should help. It was down to 63 in the house last nite so I turned the floor heat on. Floor was warm in the $hitter this a.m. so that was a plus. Ya shoulda wore yer COVID smurf mask glenn. Seeing that, Smurfette might've ravaged you!  :sleazy:

got the mower to the shop..   starting to wonder about that place...  dropping the Husqvarna line completely...  and it sounds like getting no new brand product...

That does make one wonder.  A business here in town sold Arctic Cats and had for years.  Did sales and service and sold a lot of sleds.  Arctic Cat wanted them to have so many square feet of sales floor plus a lot of other requests and they said no way.  So now they just repair any brand of sled.  So now no Cats are sold in the area.

Morning boys.  We have 41 and may see 79 today.  May also be a lot of smoke.  As in the dangerous range.  I want to go fishing this afternoon so will have to keep an eye on the smoke situation.  I have an appt with surgeon to see about my hernia this morning.  Hoping to get it fixed between the open water and ice fishing seasons.  ???  Other than that do some picking up sticks in the yard.  Have a good one.

Probably 1 of the last really nice days today & my list is pretty short so I might see if I can get in a little more boat time today. Got some putzin I can do 'til then. Have a good day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 46 at choretime heading for a high in the low 80's. Harvest keeps thundering along. Even the usual slowpokes are ahead of their normal pace. Corn is dry. Some is dry enough to dump right in the bin out of the field without drying, just turn the fans on. The neighbor's bin dryer setup just below the hill sure doesn't run for long before it shuts off at night. More soil sampling on tap for today then a car club meeting at 7 tonite. Having it at the office here in Bugtussle so will need to have enough chairs rounded up. Worst thing is these are pretty comfy chairs so some of the octo-crowd might doze off! Hell, due to the alien, if I wasn't running the meeting I could doze off! Has been some real crud...🤧

Baudette has sort of been the highest priced gas in MN from an news thing a few years ago.  I agree with it too.  BUT now it has been $2.99 for a few weeks.  The wife just told me that it is up to  $3.12 and it has been for a few days.  I don't get all of the way to town much.  LOL

Bugtussle gas prices today: $3.22 at the Cwop & $3.24 at the WWC. Interesting to see what it does tomorrow 🤔

Morning boys. 53 here and that is about all for a high today. Sure was nice yesterday. Short day in the salt mines and then head to Buffalo for the weekend. I have been a busy little beaver. Took awhile to catch up on here. Gas is 2.94 in Warroad right now. And Glenn, 4 years ago gas was right around $2/gallon.  ;) off to the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  It is 48 here on the river.  Was a beautiful afternoon fishing yesterday and the fishing was very slow.  Caught a few real little ones but didn't get a keeper.  That's ok, the wife didn't have to clean fish for me.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:   Will have to see how the day plays out today.  Looks windy too.  Well have fun JB.  You all have a good one. Mornin gents, 56 @ 1st peek here & we might see 63. Windy early here too. I spent 2.5-3 hours in the boat yday too & I had 1 small perch along with 3 sunnys. A couple of those were pretty nice but I let 'em swim. The neighbor is heading home for a few days on Tuesday & wants to take his boat with him. So, he wants to pull his boat this weekend & he usually does that at the resort next door. I usually give him a hand, so he doesn't have to walk back to his place to get his truck & trailer. Gas was $2.98 in DR & GR on Wednesday & it was that on the previous Wednesday too. But it was $3.24 at Casey's in Cohasset this week. No more now, have a good day.

Just walked out to the garage to get some burger and veggies for a soup today and I stopped and looked around.  No doubt there is more yellows and oranges than there are greens in the trees now. Some of our maples are real bright yellow this year.  May be the best colors in a long time.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! Sitty at choretime heading for a high in the mid-70's. Got thru the car club meeting last nite in good shape. Small group, a couple octo's, my buddy Jay & me. 1st meeting held at the Bugtussle office. The octo's were tickled at how roomy & relatively luxurious the meeting area was vs. the folding chairs at the town hall. Seemed to meet with their approval anyway. Alien is hanging on. Ribs & abdominal muscles are sore from all the coughing but at least that seems to be subsiding somewhat. Now I'm preoccupied with clearing all the snot out of my cranium.

Mornin guys, 45 last I looked here & we could see 53. We had a light mist ~6 & it's more of a light rain now. :happy1: I've got some laundry going & they're in the dryer now. The neighbor was thinking about pulling his boat today & I volunteered to give him a hand with that. Not sure that's still a go but I'll check with him & see. Not much else here today, have a great day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 44 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-sissties. Nice to hear of some precip elsewhere. Would be nice just to knock some of the dust out of the air. Still battling the alien but will have to soldier on. Need to make a feed run, head to FF & secure a bottle of higher end bourbon for a friend who retired. After that, we need to get the skidsteer out to pick up gourds, squash, & pumpkins then haul them up by the house. That way they can be more easily distributed and covered when it freezes. Customer who has a the binder has made a few bundles but not enough so I can get a load of them to make a shock. May have to victimize the sweet corn again this year even tho it's only ~5' tall. Oh well, people will just think it was built by midgets or smurfs I guess... :coffee:

Morning boys. 46 here in Buffalo and cloudy. I think it is supposed to be around 60ish. Kids and wife took off for the cancer walk at the MOA and I will get supper in the crockpot. Then see if my stepdad is around and go visit him for awhile. Also need to go for a cruise in the GMC envoy we picked up from my buddy's sister in st cloud. My little blazer has 315,000 miles on it and is getting tuff. So this has 30k to 40k less on it. Does need a couple things fixed on it. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  We have 36 so was a perfect night to sit my burger veggie soup outside over night.  We may do a Glenn and pickle what I think will be a dozen pint jars of green tomatoes.  I hope they are good Glenn.  LOL  Pretty calm here now.  Some leaves are getting brown now.  Some of our boxelders are as colorful as I think I have ever seen them.  I have seen about 3 boxelder bugs around the house so that ain't bad.  May get on the river later on.  We shall see.  SO JB.  You got another vehicle?  Is this a work car for you?  Any word on your new one?  Hope it all works out for you.  You all enjoy your day.

Morning boys. 445? Mike you baking some bread outside??  :rotflmao: 47 here and heading for 52 it says here in Buffalo. Supposed to be a strong new wind today. Which sucks. Not only will I be bucking it for awhile. But, when I turn north it starts to throw me around pulling the camper if it gets as windy as they are saying. We will get ready to gone so only. Hoping before the wind picks up to much. Yes, LPS, this will be another run back and forth to work, bear baiting hunting rig. They think it has like 268,000 miles on it. I will need to get the dash cluster fixed as the odometer, prndl and fuel gauge don't work. Needs a little TLC. I gave her $600 for it. So far it seems to be worth it. Well time to get ready to hit the road. Have a good one boys.
