Mornin guys, we had 61 when I went out :fishing: Had some action but just 1  :fish2: little guy. We got a few clouds & a NW breeze that is only supposed to reach 15mph today, so a lot nicer to be out. Actually the wind went NW & picked up around 11 am yday so it wasn't too bad in the shade. Think I have some mowin that needs to done today so I better go. Hope youhave a good 1. :happy1:

Mowing is on the list as well.  Good Morning.  Got to get a new battery for the van today.  My wife has the truck to go to work so I will have them replace it as the one in the van will be for the core replacement so I don't get charged.  Don't have a extra old battery around otherwise I would replace it myself.  Gona see if I can kill some more vegetation today also.  Got some bamboo on the side of the house that is trying to take over everything.  It's a plant from japan that is invasive and his hard to destroy so far.  good luck.

Have you thought about getting a panda to take care of that bamboo, RH?  :rotflmao:

It does look like real bamboo.  i forgot what it's called.  I have a two story house and it reaches my upstairs bedroom window.  I put some brush killer on some and it seems to work so far.  Supposed to kill to the root and that's what I'm looking for.  roots expand underground.  Tough stuff.  good luck.

I know that is invasive but it sounds kind of cool RH.  Easy for me to say since it is not in my yard.  Mike I have always been a GTO fan.  I had a blue 67 and I had an orange 69 Judge.  Way too much car for a guy as young as I was.  Maybe 20 years old.  Had a wreck with each one.  Too much partying with too much car.  Both got fixed.  Wish I had them now.

Yup another great day!  Heading to the Falls to do some shopping.  Really like the County Market Grocery store and their liquor store has GREAT prices.  We always stock up when there.  May get that Porterhouse I have been thinking about today.  Probably have brunch at the Chocolate Moose.  Hope they have beef ribs again.  They were awesome.  gonna be 81 today.  Shorts day.

It is interesting to watch the auctions, Mecum or Barret Jackson, on TV .   I'm not very good at predicting the selling price.   Lots of stuff goes cheaper than I would have thought.

Doesn't get better than this, 24 mile bike ride with nothing but woods all around following the river. I scouted some new fishing spots along the way, next time I'll have to bring the handy dandy ronco telescopic fishing rod and take a break along the way and do some fishing also.

Good morning,  going to be 79 and sunny today but a little humid. I'm already done with the honey do list for today so it's either off to the golf course or for another bike ride, either way it's a goof off day the rest of the way  :happy1:. Have a good one

Morning.  62 here and going to be another hot one.  Looks like rain now so will be muggy later.  Well we had a great shopping trip in the Falls yesterday.  At Menards I got one of those Remington/Ranger telescoping saws.  I put my Honda gen. on my wheeler and move around the yard.  We have lots of woods around our house so is a constant trimming thing.  It was on sale for $75.  Been looking at them for years wondering if it would work.  Well it worked great.  Man I got a lot done.  The wife tended the fire with all of the branches.  Good excuse to use the Honda too.  I feel that any new toys/tools that get a guy motivated to do something is a good purchase.  I need a reel for a custom made rod I won too.  Still looking for that.  It is for a med/heavy walleye jigging rod.  I won it a few years ago and just found it again.  Need to get it in action.  Boiling spuds on the grill now for potato salad to go with the beef ribs I found....  Ha ha one package of nice meaty ones too..

Good afternoon I guess.  Been picking cherries today off my two trees.  They are the on the tart side kind.  Going to freeze them and see if I can make some wine, otherwise jam or pie.  Man there are deer fly's out.  For here they are late in coming but I hope early to leave.  Last year they were here earlier.  Must be a global warming thing LOL.  Grass needs cutting but these systems of rain has delayed it.  Man this house work never ends.  Heading to Grindstone next week for a day.  good luck.
