 man it just hit me 15 years ago today my dad passed away. kinda sucks thinkin about the last 6 months of his life and the way he suffered!!!!!

God forbid if I overdo a steak I will then put Steak Sauce of any kind on it to make it edible.  Still sucks and is tough, not tender like med rare...   To do the perfect steak for me I put some Lawreys, extra garlic powder, onion powder, pepper and some Olive oil on each side.  Then I let it sit on the counter for a few hours before I hit a hot grill for 4 minutes a side.  OR do the prep the day before and let it sit in the frig in a glass square container I have with a nice plastic cover and then take it out the next afternoon and let it sit for a few hours on the counter.  I do try other spices to like Green Mountain Grill spices.  I sneeze every time I use it due to all of the garlic and pepper in it.  AND that is a great sign.  Damn I need a big Porterhouse for the grill this weekend.  You guys are a great inspiration.   

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HERE IS:  Glenn kudos to you and the good memories of your father!!!!
