If smurf is going to be on that schedule he could be feeding bottle lambs in the middle of the night. Oh wait, Mrs. Cheviot does that! Mornin'! 7 for a low. We're past halfway done lambing as of last night. Last lamb was DOA which is too bad but it was an old ewe w/questionable milking ability. If you want to borrow my tractor to move bales LPS I could drive it up there for you. Guessing if I ran it straight through I'd be there in a couple days! Gotta get back at it here. Ciao!

nope I wasnt up at 3;45 am..........well maybe to use the faculity!!!!! :bow: yea I was hurting last nite. feel better this morning....so far. guessing as the day goes on it will get sore again. trying to keep busy.......I get bored quickly and with this no bending and twisting with a 10 lbweigh restriction makes it tough to find something to do. I did figure out I need to eat something with them pain pills or I get a tummy ache!!!!! face_plant-2139.gif

Howdy all!!! Glad to hear your surgery went well and they sent you home early Glenn!!!

This weekend, I'm going to go borrow the neighbor's tractor and bale shredder and spread a bale around for the deer. I also need to go cut a half-dozen or so sled loads of standing dead popple to keep the garage warm for the next couple weeks.

I smoked a few pounds of cheese (cheddar and gouda) a couple nights ago, so I'm ahead of the cheese game for a bit. I still have to make a 25lb batch of RH's (curley's) chili dogs one of these weekends. I'm also getting a hankering for ribs again, maybe Sunday.  Not sure if I mentioned it, but I did a couple pork loins into Canadian bacon, again RH's recipe. Darn good stuff.

actually quite simple there rebster!!!!!!!!! ya know the old egg mcmuffins I think mickey D's have? well we call them rubber mcmuffins. toast, egg cheese and a slab of meat!!!!!!! nuked in the microwave!!!!!

I love a good egg roll. Problem is finding one. Ya get back down here, I have a Vietnamese friend that owns a restaurant in town, and she makes the best there is..we'll pop in for a few!  ;)

Eggrollls?? I or we just finished dissemblling the oven door, To clean the windows an it went to a fulll oven clean even tho it has sellf cleanin!!
 The ole girl took out shrimp and pork eggrolls for supper. Of course there homemade!! When we make em its so time consuming we make 4 packages of wrapper packs an freeze bunches.I think there are 22 wrappers pre pack??Maybe 21?? Ours are fatties!

good homemade egg rolls are hard to beat!!!  lady down the road a bit make home pizza rolls instead of the normal ingredients in egg rolls.  not bad either!!

Oriental covers a lot of ground when it comes to food.   Japanese, 5 or 6 kinds of Chinese, Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Singapore, ......

morning fellers.........little sore but feel pretty good. plan on putzing a bit in the garage this afternoon to get some fresh air. suxs with being limited to lite duty activities. well at least I haven't driven the wife off the deep end........yet!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I hear ya glenn. Like I always tell her, it's OK to look but you can't touch!  tut_tut-3315.gif Hauling 40 gals. worth of warm water a day to these pens of lambs is starting to make my back sore. It has warmed up (22 at 7 a.m.) but at least it's windy with gusts over 30 mph. If they hadn't stuck all those big fans up around here maybe it wouldn't be so windy! :angry:
