Morning fellers. Another day in paradise and I get to start it with a crashed CNC mill that I left running when I went home last night. :mad1: I love putting out fires first thing in the morning. pouty-1023.gif Had 0* to start the day up here. Little colder then I was expecting. Oh well. Have a good day all!

Morning guys. No real problem with service people here but we did tell them we were goin home the end of the week & we're not just up here on weekends. The story we got from the office was that their guy, for our problem, had a emergency dentist visit on Monday am. When he showed up about 10 yday that sounded like it was true. Took him 1-1.5 to find a couple loose wires coming out of the furnace & going the the control panel. It was causing a low voltage default on the upstairs thermostat. Been good since he left. :happy1: Went up to Cheap Burger Night in SL last night & they were packed as well, quite a few new faces. We had 6 here when I looked, heading for near 30. Awful windy here yesterday but did see 1 out on the bay in the afternoon. Will give it :fishing: a shot myself today. Going to pull the sled off the lake in the next couple days before it gets too sloppy & tore up. Have a great day

Morning.  Ya I was surprised to see 2 here this morning.  Didn't realize it was going to get that cold, mid 40's for the weekend though.  It will be upper 60's for us in NV.   sleazy-422.gif  I will put shorts on for a least a conversation piece at least once.  My snow white legs will draw some attention.  Probably embarrass the wife and that is always fun.....   lol  I have the day off to prepare for the event.  I will have a Rebs type breakfast of ham and eggs sunny side up.  On my second cup of java now so time to get some packing done.  The wife did the hard part last night, packing the suitcases.  She has a list for me to work off which I like as I am a list type of guy and she has already texted me chores from her work.  She is the greatest!!!!  I will take her out to eat somewhere tonight.

I got a sous vide for Valentines Day.  I've been doing it with a pot and a temp gauge the past month but now Del and I are proud Sous Vide owners.  Great gizmo.

Guess that means I'll have to have boober's bacon, SSU eggs, and toast in a bit, right?

You are going to love it.   Next I am going to try pulled pork or chuck roast, something that goes for like 24 hours.   But it will be a while.

In the meantime it is 52 and foggy here this morning, supposed to clear off and get into the 70's.

Anything naughty on your chore list LPS?  I like my eggs over easy Reb and my bacon cooked but not too crunchy.  :happy1:

19 for an overnight low. Still waiting on one ewe that's close to come in. She just keeps getting bigger. Was a good Valentine's Day. Mrs. Cheviot got done work earlier than expected so chores were half done when I got home. Got a tasty six pack and chocolates so I'm set. Nice to know I'm more than just a sex slave sometimes.  :azn:

Great.  more for me.   And stay out of good restaurants.  They use sous vide frequently.

Taco Bell not so much so you are probably safe.

Hi ya fellas, I need to change the subject it looks. 36 as of now but  looking like a great forecast.  Just a trace of snow left in the front yard, to my surprise just a smidg of winter fuzz found. I gave up on the tapping of the tree, I could get lots of sap, but I don't have the fridge room to store it when it warms, oh well I can concentrate on other projects then.

lol...I hear ya Boober. Seen the movie, know how it ends! Some guys tapping trees around here and getting some flow. Need to prune some apple & other fruit trees. Not sure when I can get Mrs. Cheviot motivated to get it done but I am a patient man.  Now back to our regularly scheduled programming... ;)

We've got 22 to start. Not quite 40 for us today either, then mid to upper 40's for 6 in a row. Sounds like some sloppy ice conditions to me. Made it out :fishing: in the morning & caught enough for a good meal. It was pretty nice out there until the clouds & wind moved in about 3. Not much else new here. Enjoy your day

Temp rose here overnight. Was 28 when I went out to the barn after the Gophers game and 32 this a.m. about 6:30. Heading to the upper 40's this afternoon. Talk that it could hit 60 sometime over the next several days.

Finally, the ewe we'd been watching for the last week came in so there are only 5 left to go, with a couple of those being fairly close. Last night's contestant appeared in the middle of the night on Mrs. Cheviot's watch. First time the ewe has lambed so she's just batchit crazy. The ewe, not Mrs. Cheviot. She's just tired but she's cranky.  :happy1:

Back from Duluth.  Had a great time with my brother.  Man they still got some snow up there compared to us.  Went fishing to Rice Lake up there and did well with pike.  Lot's of them.  Threw a lot back but we kept 6.  Five for making pickled pike and one nice 6 pounder for fillets.  Had some adult beverages as well.  Great day.  The drive out [about two miles was four wheel drive all the way.  Lots of snow on the ice but we acted like teenagers driving through that stuff.  good luck.
