Hey first of all welcome aboard merc. Now what da heck is all this stuff about NO "fibs". People from Illinois such as myself are called "fibs" by the Wisconsin folks. Then they also referee to some of us elite flatlanders as "fibwobs".  For those that are not familiar with the meanings of those tags I'd have to post um on the saloon forum If you want. Anyhow to MNO merc it's a fine bunch a dudes here.

Got out with the boy this weekend and we put up a bunch of wood duck houses on my parent's property.   Figured with the short freeze up we'd get it done.

Great to have you here merc! Nice job on getting the wood duck houses up general. Need to clean a couple out and erect a new one here.

Finally made progress in the lambing barn this afternoon. Last ewe lambed February 24th. This ewe was acting abnormal and having seen this behavior before, decided to get out the OB sleeves and check it out. First lamb was dead, head was back. Got that one out of her then discovered a tail and hind legs when fishing around. Got it out of there expeditiously and it was still alive. Sometimes that isn't the case if you diddle around too long. Buck lamb and it had a black spot (8-ball) but at least it was alive and healthy. One to go!

Ya, I don't think Reb should have an exclusive on neighbor ladies! 

Low of 3 on the house thermometer and 1 on the truck version. Forecast high of 23. Typical mid-January day. Gotta finish an article and start another one. At least I can do it inside by the stove.
