Good afternoon all, Glenn and LBBG I will definitely get your coffee out to you guys either tomorrow or Saturday. The 25 and 27 year old adolescents at the shop thought they could play games with me so I gave them their warnings but they kept up the games so now they are on the outside looking in wondering why they don't have a job anymore so it's been a crazy 2 weeks for me. It's been raining here since yesterday and won't stop til Tuesday of next week so no golfing, fishing or cooking out this weekend. Well going to try to take a nap before the pens game 7 tonight. Y'all have a good day
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

Mornin guys, we've got 54 here at the lake. Woke up early, just as it was getting light, so I jumped in the boat.I spent about an hour & a 1/2 out there, mostly listening to the critters wake up as I only had 1 of glenn's picklers  :fish2: to show for my efforts. That's Ok as I still love startin my day on the lake, if'n I catch somethin good is just a bonus.  :happy1: I think they're talkin 70+ here too today & maybe tomorrow, then not so good for 2-3 days. Have a good Friday & a great weekend, all

Mike it sounds like you can do anything you want this weekend.  Have a great time.  The Vet will be here soon.  The two horses will get shots and float Jiggs teeth.  The dogs will get shots too.  They usually just send them to me but they have to give the Rabies shots.  Then I am going to weed whip around things.  I am going to spray all of that stuff so I don't have to weed whip much anymore.  Looking like beautiful day here.  Will pick up Tanner the grandson about 3or 4 at Menagha today.  We always have a fun time with him.  Have a good one everyone.  TGIF.

Morning started out not so well, water pump went out on pick-up. It's at the pick-up doctor getting fixed. There goes $350.00 I could blew on more important things like fishing or trapshooting or something else. Might head up to deer camp with grandkids and cut grass on Saturday. Have a great (and safe) weekend everyone.

Well the Vet has been here and is gone already.  Great guy.  Dr. Matson from Greenbush Vet Clinic.  Fun to talk to.  We always have a laugh or two.  Did have to file Jiggs teeth down some.  Even with the sleepy shot he still was a little owly.  And I already have my weed whipping done too.  So now I am thinking of having a big breakfast.  The wife won't be home till noon.  What a great day.  I don't want the wife to know I have overachieved so much that my chores are done or she will think of something else for me to do....    :rotflmao:

Rochester, Mn.

(ABC 6 News) -- A gas station car wash was damaged Wednesday after a driver tried to make it through the wash with a trailer.

According to Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin, the driver, 28-year-old Joseph Johnson of Rochester, was driving a 2000 GMC Jimmy with a trailer attached and was trying to pull around the Kwik Trip on 55th St. NW.  Captain Sherwin says Johnson soon realized the path he was going went right to the car wash, but he was unable to reverse because the reverse was broken in his vehicle.

Johnson proceeded to go through the car wash and ended up causing thousands of dollars in damage to the brushes and rails inside, according to Captain Sherwin.

Captain Sherwin says Johnson notified Kwik Trip employees about what happened but took off before police arrived.  Police were able to quickly locate Johnson, because of the damage and smoke coming from the vehicle and trailer.

Johnson was cited for driving after revocation, not having insurance, under the influence, and being in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

What!!!  I am the first one saying Good Morning and it is already 7:30.  I first got up at 5:30 as it is so light out now.  Our days are 45 minutes longer here in the summer than southern MN but 45 minutes shorter in the middle of winter.  After I took care of coffee, the dogs, etc I napped for another hour.  What a nice looking day.  My Minnetonka Moccasins are worn out so we stopped at Lake George at the moccasin store there.  They are Itasca Leatherworks.  I bought a pair there that I really like.  Spendy but make a great slipper that can be worn outside too.  I like them for driving too.  Sam is the lady that works there and she actually makes the moccasins too.  She said I can even send them back for new leather on the bottom when they wear out.  Well Tanner is here as you all know.  Man Buddy has turned into his side kick.  That is great to see.  SO we are having green eggs and ham for breakfast.  I thought he was kidding on the way home yesterday but he told me he knows how to make green eggs so that is what it will be.   :rotflmao:  I am thinking they are scrambled.  Will let you know later.  Have a good day to all of you.

We had 51 here at 4:45 when I headed for the boat as I've already spent a couple hours out on the lake. It was another beauty of a sunrise, not much action :fish2: though. We have company for the next couple days so I'll be spending part of the early mornings & evenings in the boat to stay out of the way. ;) Hope you have a good day & a great weekend everyone.

I got the same out of the used sweet corn Rebs.  Now that he corrected us it looks fine.  Mike that sounds like a fun meal.  We haven't done that yet this year so good idea.  I have never put bacon in it neither.  Sounds great.

Morning Mike.  The shrooms and matos sound great.  Cooked tomatoes add a great touch to things.  And onions. Too bad about Greg.  Man those were some great music years.  Things have sure changed.  Not much good stuff produced anymore.  Thank goodness we have all of the oldies to listen to.  An old friend of mine called me while I was on the river yesterday.  He told me he just bought a Moody Blues CD that we used to rock out to.  Supposed to be raining here by noon.  We have stuff for the Hobos but have to see if the weather puts a damper on it.  If so we will improvise.

Morning guys, 52 for our start. Cooler(50-60) the next 2-3 days & probably keep the NW wind goin, so the boat time may get cut back some. Got out last night & caught a few :Fish: for the table. About 9:00 the wind switched, came up, & a little squall came through so it pushed everyone off the lake. Got most of my mowing done yday then I got pulled away, so after getting more gas I'll be finishing that up. Just heard that our company might be leavin today to beat some of the traffic, we'll see. Enjoy your Sunday everybody.

57* and sun AGAIN for the second day here in Swampville!   And no rain! Got all my work done, may wash a load of clothes and that's about it. Rest of the day is a goof-off day. The NL#2 came over for a chat yday...I can't remember a word she said, as I was looking at things....  However, she sat in MY favorite chair and I didn't holler at her. She had me go over to her place as she wanted me to show her how to raise her mower one step and replace her trimmer line. She's goin' at it like crazy on her yard, (Gotta giver her lotsa credit...what a worker!) said she's gonna get hers to look like mine. Told her fat chance of that! I was going down the steps, walking behind her when we were talking about my yard, and she said "I think I have grass envy"...I came THIS close to blurting out "I think I have azz envy"... :doah: THAT woulda been an interesting moment. *SMACK*YOW!*
Time for some flipped-over eggs and fried SPAM. Have a good weekend, guys.
