Afternoon fellers. Hit the ground running. Got my garlic pulled. Udderly disappointed. Gotta finish up things so I feel comfortable leaving for 5 days.

Meanwhile back at the ranch..still procrastinating but I'll get moving eventually. Kinda one of those smell the roses mornings, putz and fix, etc. Needed something a little more substantial for the morning glories on the side of the house. Took a hunk of old corn crib tunnel and a few pieces of busted up hog panel and voila! Instant trellis! Last fall I'd moved a bunch of tiger lilies that were in the way to a new home. Wasn't sure how they'd  respond. Looks like they're doing OK. The icing on the cake was the swallowtail that visited while I was photographing.  :happy1:

Just mowed for an hour and a half in 88 degrees.  I am in and ready for a cold one or two.  Kabob meat is out warming up.  Cukes are great and didn't need more vinegar Rebs.  The wife likes them too.  I didn't actually measure things but am close.  Clouding up some and would like to see a thunder storm.

:happy1:LOL!!!  Ok now you and my wife are both concerned that I didn't measure the stuff.  Hey I test tasted it and it is awesome.  lol  It just rained here hard for about 5 minutes.  Surprised the heck out of us.  The Daniel Boone is heating up and getting ready for the kabobs.  So relax Rebs, everything will be alright.   AND thanks so much...    :rotflmao: :happy1:

Well the kabobs were overdone.   :angry2:  I thought I would give them a few more minutes..  That was the wrong approach.  Always take off when you get the first urge.  Can always put them back on.  Well at least Rebs Cukes made the meal!!  It is in the 60's here but so humid the air even looks thick.  Gonna leave the AC on today.

Morning all. Still no rain at our place, it went north and south of us. Grass is getting browner every day. Oh well. Will need to get some watering done tonight after work. Some of the transplant pines are looking like they are getting thirsty. Not much else happening. Have a good one.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Hmmm...forgot to hit "Post"... :mad1:  Morning guys. 66* and 96% Hume down here in Swampville. Just can't get rid of it. Moss growing on the shady areas of my paver blocks on the ground, it's so hume lately. Our "Week of sun' has suddenly turned into chance of T-storms for Today, Tuesday, Wednesday......just like the movie Groundhog around here. C'mon down and get some rain guys, you can have all ya want. Just take the wedder predictin' idjits with ya. They're about as useful as a Kaepernoscopy. Even Glenn could predict wedder better by licking his finger and puttin' it in the air. Wait, don't lick that Glenn!...where's it been...   Have a good plane ride, little buddy, and don't get in any trouble out there.      Have a good day, guys.  :coffee:

I smoked a pipe. My bride is supposed to quit to. She needs to also to get her hip replaced. They won't do the surgery unless she does.

Morning gents, 65 here when I started movin :fishing:. I had a couple bites but no :fish2:. I had some of the best action of the season last night, thought I was goin to run out of leeches. When i was done I had 2 nice 15-16" eyes( missed 3 or 4) & a 21" pike, so it looks like fresh fish is on the menu 1 of these next days. A little cooler today, they're sayin, then around 70, 50's overnight, with a chance of rain for the rest of the week. :happy1: Nothing too pressing on the list for today so I may go back out in the boat. Have a good Monday guys. Behave yourself  out there glenn, we don't want to see you on the nightly news. ;)
