Morning all. Back to the grind after a week of vacation. Had a good time with the grandkids. We spent 3 days at the federal dam on Leech. Did a couple days of fishing there then came home on Tuesday. Pressure washed the boat before putting it back in here at home. Wind died down and was come Friday. Went out and caught some nice eyes for supper. After spending 3 nights in a small pickup camper the wife and I are thinking about getting a 5th wheel camper. Found  a used one in ND that we may have to go check out. Well, back to it I go. Have a good one.

Well found 4.8" in rain gauge this morning, .70" in basement. Enough for me for awhile. We did get the loose paint pressure washed off of deer camp and ready for paint.

Well boys I am all excited today.  I couldn't even sleep till 6 as I normally do.  Got up 15 minutes early.  Off to the Pre Retirement workshop.  Probably no big deal just cool to be doing it.  Looks like rain coming tomorrow.  Man we could use some too.  Time for Honey nut O's.  Later.

Morning all. Yes federal dam is a nice campground. We spent 1 night there last summer and thought it was nice, so we went for 3 nights this year. It has a nice lagoon for parking the boats. And best of all the weather was nice while we were there. Which was a good thing since a popup pickup camper is pretty tight for 4 people. Which is part of the reason we are thinking of getting a 5th wheel. Well off to the grind. Have a good one all!

Finally finished mowing ours yday. Got the sister's & BIL boat dry enough to put in the shed too. Need some gas in the boat & there's a couple eyes down in the live box that should see the knife today as they've been in there a few days. Not much else needin tending to, so maybe a little more  :fishing later. have a good un

I would like to mow the yard if it dries off a bit. It's beginning to look like a hay field.  Then its off to my daughters house to bleach and power wash the north side.  After that I will get ready for fishing with my son this evening.

Morning all. 60* and partly cloudy here in Swampville. Looks like mow day for everyone...might as well do the back 40 before the week of predicted monsoon hits.  Grocery day, too. Filled the freezer with bargains yesterday, pretty much have my winter load of meat. Might get another pork roast; they're $1.98 a lb on sale. Some more cawfee, then time to do my Kaepernoscopy in the bucket and take it in. Sure wouldn't wanna work in the lab that does those.  Aren't ya glad I shared that? Have a good one guys.

Morning boys. Getting a little dribble of rain up here this morning. I am hoping that we get a steady all day rain today. We need it. Crazy how all the rain has been missing this corner of the state. Ya JB, that 70 % last night got us about 10 drops.  Dark and looking rainy here so maybe will get some today.  I look forward to a nice rainy day.  Back to the grind here too.  Had a fun day yesterday.

mornin all, JB you can have our rain, we good for awhile!!!  but if it does rain here we will get by..  got all my outside jobs done yesterday, with a little help from a friend, my dock was binding when I raised it yesterday.. well he has the same dock and knew the right way to correct it, that was a great help!!!!!  have a great day all!!!!!

League night for me today and we have an inch of rain today and 2 1/2 more starting around 5:00, Thunder and lightning too. It takes an act of God to cancel these things but we do stop for lightning, I just hope it starts early enough so as we don't have to put the boats in and turn around and take them out once we get soak and wet. We had almost 2 inches last week also.

Morning all. yes no maybe yes no maybe. That's the wedder morjits fcast for today and tomorrow...last nite they said 90% rain and storms today and 80% for tomorrow...now, zero percent for today, cloudy... and  40% tomorrow. They change their forecast about every couple hours down here. I don't think they have a clue what it's going to do.  We go from yes to no...think I know where they're getting their answers...
