Morning boys.  We have 26 and lots of frost on everything. So glad I got things all buttoned up already.  Just have to blow out the waterline to camp.  That is an easy project too.  Man what a game last night.  That is the first of the series that I watched and I picked the right game to watch.  The Dodgers deserved the win too.  The Yanks made a few bad plays.  I am surprised you didn't get a buyer on your truck too Mark.  Who doesn't want a good plow truck???   Well you all have a good one and be safe trick or treating.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 44 at choretime & that will likely be the high for the day. Got some much needed rain yesterday afternoon & last nite. .78" at the ranch & .90" in Bugtussle. Maybe my neighbor's wife will give him his matches back. I doubt it. I think he has some of the same cognitive issues my buddy Bill does to a lesser degree so she needs to keep him on a short leash. I took the trough over there last nite so the ewes got their grain. Took a bale of hay along in case the pasture should happen to get buried in snow. Wouldn't be the 1st time. Happy for you jb! Hope it works out this time w/o the headaches with the last one gave you.

Yup, they came that way. In '57 & '58, the Golden Hawks were supercharged while the Silver Hawks were not. Same 289 Studebaker engine however. The '58 Packard Hawk had the same engine & supercharger as the Golden Hawk did. Pretty much the same car but the Packard had a catfish mouth-like front end. Saw one at the Hemken Museum in Williams IA a few years back. They had the largest collection of Packards I'd ever seen along with a lot of other cool stuff. The elderly lady who gave us the tour told us the supercharger on this one had been removed by the elderly gentleman owner's family. It went like a bat out of hell and they were afraid he'd kill himself.

Smurfette: Is that a Johnsonville brat in yer pants or are ya just glad to see me?

One thing I forgot to mention Barry. We went to the new grocery store in I Falls last week. Was our 2nd visit so starting to know the lay of the land. At least I know where the limes are & that's the key thing...lol Ran across lamb chops in the meat counter for $19.99/lb. They looked pretty nice actually. We had lamburger along from our freezer so didn't bite on them. The smoked lake trout I got from Morey's on the way home was only $14.99/lb. I actually prefer it to the smoked salmon. Mighty tasty with Swiss on a cracker! 🐟  :happy1:

I found some beef ribs the last time I was there.  I would love to have some nice tender lamb chops but kind of afraid of them now.  If I see them there I will check the out though.  We like it more each time we go there too.

It really is a nice store. We've both been impressed by it thus far. Like the layout. Reminds me of the bigger stores here in Owatonna & Albert's Leaf. Were decent deals on some items. Clean and the staff is helpful. Last time we were there Bill said the $hitter was nice too. This time he didn't recall that he'd been in there. Oh well... :coffee:

Yes the zhitter is always clean and doesn't smell terrible like Menards does.  Even if noone is in there Menards smells like, well, you know what.

Maybe taking a dump isn't as much a memorable event for Bill as it is for you.

Especially after using an outdoor model in Canada for several days, again, it tends to give one a greater appreciation for these sorts of things.  :coffee:  :rotflmao:

Just enjoy what you have doing your business,  yrs ago close to Northstar Lake while grouse hunting the chitter was a seat over a hole with no walls bout 50 yards in da woods from the place. One went fast... and Glenn, pretty sure you won't let us forget your going otta town...again..
