Mornin guys, we had 37 early here & we should see 50. That wind was kind of wicked here yday, so after my early venture out I stayed pretty close to the nest. Probably start with a fire again today & see how that goes. Still got a couple lawnmower batteries that need to be put away too. Got a couple other little things I can do as well, if I feel like it. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Good morning and good luck to all the deer hunters. markn, you really get a head start. I have some things scheduled for this morning so probably won't make it to the land until early afternoon.

Deadeye; I like coming up early. it’s more to be sure the furnace works than anything else. If you get an extra big buck please enter it in boars deer contest for me.  ;) LOL. Good luck. :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 33 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-fitties. Absolutely gorgeous day & they're likely numbered. Complete my writing project, talk to the tire shop about mounting new rims, then then get outside & enjoy this one after lunch. Plenty of crap to do around the yard. Mebbe see what the meat market has before I leave town.  Prolly put my Carhartts on with the white hanky hanging out of the back pocket tomorrow.  :coffee:

The stars are bright and it was a bit chilly on the trip to outhouse this morning. Just a great day to be alive I guess. Again, good luck hunters and most of all be safe. Later…. :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin all, 34 @ 1st peek here & we're headed for 51. It got pretty nice here yday afternoon too, so I took the Grizzly for a little spin. The lawnmowers have been put to bed & their batteries are in the furnace room on their trickle chargers. Had a fire going for most of the day too, I didn't get much help from the breeze though. I think I'll see about getting the plow blade on the wheeler today. No more now, have a great day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 42 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 40's. Rain on the way by the looks of the radar. Lots of gunfire & vehicles before dawn to our south. Quiet ever since. As I figured, got roped into the sheep washing fiasco, again. This one really torques me off. The 3 females in charge decided they were washing Sunday originally. Fine, weather should be better & I could make plans to work around that. Supposed to rain today anyway. All the sudden last nite I find out they've changed their minds, want to wash today. It's someone's birthday party tomorrow. Doesn't take all day to wash 2 sheep for starters and if it rains, I really don't want them washing in the garage. Have seen them in action before & they spray water all over hell. Dummies anyway...

Mornin boys, 43 for our start with some light rain & we might make it to 48. I was outside for a couple hours early yday & I'm pretty sure I didn't hear more than a dozen shots. I got the plow on the Grizzly in short order, so I turned to my wood pile. We had a little wind yday early so I did manage to get a couple nice chunks of that burned up. :happy1: That's probably a no go today & that's OK. Never did go for a paper last week, so I'm thinkin we'll be headed that way today. He plows for us when we're not here too. Have a good day.

Morning boys.  How the heck are you?  It is 42 and a steady light rain here.  Yesterday I got me a new Pitt Boss 1250 Competition Smoker.  My old Green Mountain that was a great grill is 12 years old and it looks it.  Time to upgrade.  We got home and watched the Gopher debacle and then got started putting it together on the deck in the wind.  Had to go chase the directions twice.  Got most of it done but still some to do once the rain quits.  Man it is nice.  I put the old grill out at the end of the driveway.  Just looked and it is still there.  Had a Hwy Patrol stop and look at it whilst we were putting the new one together last night.  Then he floored it and took off like a bat out of he77.  There are 61 screws to assemble this.  I got my driver out of the garage and the wife said there is a cross over the pic so you can't use that.  I laughed and said that is just for other people.  The first screw I drove in twisted right off so then had to get it out.  She laughed her azz off at me.  LOL  Well you all have a good one and prepare for the worst.

I like the external keyboard and mouse but I suppose they'd be a PIA when using it in your truck.

I rarely use the laptop in the pickup. Most of that work I do with the phone. Havent gone the I Pad or tablet route yet. More stuff to haul around. I use a mouse a lot but can't remember the last time I typed copy on a full-size keyboard. That might take some getting used to. I blew the laptop keyboard out good before messing with Youtube help videos, downloads, etc. If I go the external keyboard route for a spell, I'll probably have to buy two. They're reasonably priced. See comment about hauling stuff around. What I'd really like to have is a full sized monitor for all that naughty stuff glenn sends me...

Mornin gang, a windy 37 here & we're on our way to 41. The light rain stuck around 'til almost noon yday, so it was an inside putzing day. It's sayin that it feels like 25 out there now, so my outdoor activities will probably be kind of limited again today. We're headed back south on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the weather, so there's enough to do. Thank you for your service all you vets out there & have a great day!!
