Good to hear Mike.  Our windshield frozen up on the way to our stop, but coming home last night was just wet. I've been wondering JB about your wood shed project.  Frozen or to fresh wet wood be the issue?

Yes I have been wondering about your wood boiler issue too.  I know you will get it figured out.  I haven't had a fire in the shop for 2 days and it is still about 47 out there.  Will save a few days of fuel.  Will get it fired up again tomorrow.  Man what a boring day of football today.  Could care less about both games.  Just couldn't get into them.  Have my beef ribs in the smoker.  My last pellet grill was a Green Mountain that I was proud of.  Had it for 12 years.  I had to take all of the plates and grates out to clean out the ash cup.  My new one has it right on the bottom outside and I can just unclip it and pull it out and dump it.  A huge issue, much easier.  Will go grain Bucko in awhile so will go for a walkabout too.  Well GO Bills and Steelers!!!

Morning fellers. 30 here. No snow but it rained on and off all night.  How do I know  I spent more time in the outdoor biffy then I cared to. tummy not feeling to well. :pouty:

With the rain, being here by myself,  I'm not going out on the ice. Just don't trust it now.had the ice been thicker I'd have no problem  going. Not sure if I'm going to head home this afternoon or wait till morning????

Morning boys.  Yup there is no place like home.  We have 33 here and was 34 all night long.  We have had a skiff of snow almost every night so I may have to clean things up with the plow today.  Gonna get windy too it looks like.  NW at 15-25.  Was sure great to see the Lions lose yesterday.  That makes it a little more fun.  LOL  Well walk like a penguin.

Thanks for the video Dotch. Haven't heard that one in a long tiime. I did get the back part of the golf cart off it yesterday so the motor is easy to get at. It's froze up so a trip to FF for some acetone and transmission fluid. Might pull the head off it today. I didn't get the fire-ring melted out of the ground yesterday, too windy, maybe today. More coffee :coffee:, later.......  :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin boys, foggy again & 35 here, we should see 40. I'm headed out to the clinic sometime around 9 today as I have my yearly checkup at 9:30. Getting a little short on some of my meds, so ordering those will be priority #2. Got a little outside project I like to get to as well. No more now, have a good day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 35 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper 30's. Got the bolts replaced in the wheel clamps on the 656. Took longer than expected to get 'em tight. Good thing I ate my Wheaties. Now I gotta get the wheel weights on. Not essential but would be nice to have it done. Might see if I can sweet talk my neighbor into doing it in his shop down the hill. Otherwise, gotta get payroll done & work on some writing stuff. Saw one other ewe getting close yesterday so hoping she decides to do that on a warm day. Not counting on it... :coffee:

Morning boys. 10 here and heading for 17 today. Back to lower temps we go. I guess at this point it might as well make some more ice hopefully. Pretty good game last night. The Vikes got a little sloppy a couple of times. Hope they keep winning. Well, just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. The Wifey's first day back to work today. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  About the same as JB today.  We have 13 now and may see 17 today.  I will start the fire program back up today.  Was a nice 4 day vacation from it so saved some wood.  Got everything all plowed up yesterday.  Man wet stuff.  I even plow part of the yard where I park the trucks so lot of grass showing now.  I could even smell grass as I was plowing Gonna listen to some KFAN Vikes stuff today too.  Glad we won.  Yes it was slow for awhile so glad we got it together.   Have a good day out there all of you.

Mornin gang, 25 here & we're headed for 33, I hear. A slight chance of some snow(~1") here this afternoon & a better chance yet about 8 tonight. Think we might've made 45 yday as I seen 43 early PM. The carwash on this side of town was busy yet a little after 4. The Dr said my bloodwork looked really good, so I was happy to here that. Getting low on a couple of my meds so I'll probably head to Mason City kind of early today to get that taken care of. 'Bout it here, have a great day.

Going to get a crown put on at 10:00 today. Should get rid of a load of crap at the dump too. Motor is still stuck on the Harly, but the piston is free in the jug. A bit baffled on that one. I really don't want to take the motor out and bolt it down to the bench, but it's starting to look that way. We'll keep plugging away at it. Later....... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 23 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper 20's. A chance of snow this afternoon into this evening, perhaps an inch or so. Plugged the tractor in before I left this a.m. Will be heading back home after lunch to put another bale in the lot.  Got my bill from the tire shop yesterday. Ouch, but I guessed it'd be somewhere in that neighborhood. Over a hundo just for disposal of the old tires. If I'd known that, I would've burned them! At least I've got a functioning tractor again & can use the skidsteer for nuisance-type snow. Couldn't ambush the neighbor about the weights yesterday since he wasn't at his shop so maybe he'll be back there today. Guessing it might be calf weaning time there pretty quick so he probably doesn't need me pestering him.

Funny what 53 years of chloride, manure & mud will do to a 5/8" bolt...
