Morning boys. 8 above here and heading for 31 today. It was 6 above when I got out of bed at 4:30. Already climbing.  I went out and swapped the 100 lbs tanks on my fish house. Going to go to Roseau after work and get tanks filled. I have 2. 100 lbs tanks and a 20 lbs. Roseau is way cheaper than Warroad for filling tanks. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Think I'll try to finish up that axel today. I did get the 2 1/2" holes drilled out in the 2x4 tubing last night, now I have to plasma cut out the slots in them to go over the axel. After that drill the mounting holes (8) in the 1/2" plates for the bolts and weld them together. Once that is done these mounts should fit a 60" wide trailer frame. Length can be what-ever to who buys it has in mind. It was 5'x10' when I bought it. I'll put up pictures and it will be for sale. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  We have about 10 here and should see the 30's today.  That will feel great as we are getting closer to spring.  LOL  Finished a great book yesterday so will begin another one today.  I showed you that little excavator that I am thinking about.  There are lots of videos that I have been checking out.  This one is $4,800 new.  I would like a spike for ripping tree roots on it too.  They have a few attachments for them too.  We have a lot of stumps that are a nuisance so that would be the main job at first anyways.  You all have a great and warm day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 1 above at choretime heading for a high in the mid-20's. It's 14 presently and the wind chill is 0 so there is that. Unloaded & stacked the cornstalks yesterday afternoon then took the wagon back to the guy before sunset. This a.m., got my coffee, granola bars, Albert's Leaf paper, & Strategic Farmer webinar in so on with the rest of the day. Looks like we get a warmup for 3 days. Should unhook the tractor from the spreader, put the bale spear on & plop a round bale in each lot so the yearlings & brood ewes can grind away on those. Mebbe Friday I can find some help to move the handling system & I can finish cleaning the main barn before the temperatures lower the boom again. The pack tends to come out in hard frozen sheets. It's like running concrete slabs thru the spreader & nothing good'll come from that.  :embarrassed:
