Did pork chops on the grill last night.  Were pretty good but got a little tough on me.  Must have left them just a minute or two too long.  Wondering if I should bake them with a little water to get them to tender up some. Or mayhaps some cream of mushroom gravy.   :happy1: :happy1:

Thanks and I know! What's better on maters than cottage cheese and what's better on cottage cheese than pepper? That and if I eat any more sweet corn I should be able to crap through a screen door in the morning!  :happy1:

What's better on maters?     I don't know...  I remember my grandpa teaching me to eat tomatoes with sugar.  I don't do that now, but I remember it was pretty good.

Then again, he also used to put grape jelly on a summer sausage sandwich.

Waiting for our Early Girls to turn red.  We both like cottage cheese so will definitely do the mater CC pepper thing.  The wife likes mater sandwiches.  Just butter and maters.  Our red onions are sticking out of the ground and getting bigger.  Is that ok or should I put dirt on top of them?  A friend of my Dads used to grow the biggest onions.  He packed sand around them or some type of thing like that so they could grow easier.  LOL  ?????

I will send a pic tomorrow.  The tops are green but the red onions are sticking out of the ground quite a ways.
