Looks great Glenn.  We are going to make chicken fried steaks again.  See if we can make them as good as the first time.  Best I ever had.

I did the 4 qt jar method and let them sit for a few weeks and it turned out perfect.  Tried it twice since and didn't turn out good.  Not sure why?

ever since the guy we deer hunted with told me how to do it, i've done it the same way. not sure why this failed.

i use a food processor to cut it up, stuff it in qt jars, add a tsp of salt and pour hot water in the jar. tighten the lid, let it sit for a couple days then loosen the lid to do its thing. i use the used lids at first. then but new lids on it after 3-4 weeks...usually works. ive even hot bathed it to make sure it seals....and always turned out.

still cant figure it out.........

I totally forgot to snap a picture of dinner last night! That must be a good sign... My special someone came over and I made us pork chops, herbed butter rice, steamed green beans, and cheesy garlic bread for supper. He cleaned his plate so I'm thinking I done good!  :happy1:

There are some top quality chefs here. I get excited when I make a peanut butter and bologna sandwich.
I tip my Stormy Kromer to all of you.
