What a sick feeling.  Reminds me of a buddy a few years ago.  Had a new Ice Castle and left it on a lake by Webster SD planning on coming back the next weekend and fishing there again cuz the fishing was so good.  It really warmed up and when he got back his house looked like that one.  Had to hire some guys to save it for him.

i texted my brother yesterdy.i asked how the ice looked..........his reply..........frozen!!!! last night he sent me another text of a nice batch of sunfish......of course i told him where to fish them last year!!!!!

Dang I really like my Clam portable!!!   I pack it up and take it with me.  Never have to worry about it out on the ice.

Even tho it's been making ice again down here, looks like almost everyone has cashed in their chips for the season. Very little sign of activity anywhere.

read on facebook Geigers is advising traveling on bowstring out from there place strictly by side by side the biggest. theres apparently a big crack that heads to a ice heave out further.

Quite a few yday even, but not like today.

i've seen a couple reports the last 12-18 hours. one on highbanks.......they got a crack in the road and werent letting vehicles drive it. there north road was ok i guess.

on mille lacs........and i dont recall the resort, but they werent letting anyone out untill they asses some unsafe ice!!!

with the projected temps coming up i'd concerned. my brother is heading up in a week, i know where he's gonna wanna fish. we have to go through a small bog and its on the north side of the lake. if the sun beats on that i wouldn't be to interested in going on!!

Seen highbanks is shutting down at noon today due to unfavorable ice conditions.

I was told that one of the roads out of wheelers point was letting out 1 tons with tandem axle houses now.
