little trouble in paradise right now!!!!!! apparently the U of M when they put the Picc line in uses some kind of metal to keep the Picc line in place. on of a few that do it. nurse said she's not trained to do that????

thanks for the well wishes everyone......IT IS much appreciated !!!!!!

so i got home at 11;30 last night........the ER experience really sucks......i hope the do better if your really seriously hurt. in saying this i could only take away what Sue has was not serious!!!! my experiences with ER's are not favorable.

anyway so after Paynseville did a CTE scan, 2 versions, the U did another one, they said in the event something else showed up later. they then did an MRI, and results came back she had a mini stroke. it appears she has full motion of all her body parts expect that it affected her right eye. it doesn't align with her left saying the muscle that moves her eye isnt working.

it appears to be a few day hospital stay for theraphy and education to prevent further strokes.  i texted her last night and they still havent foind a room for her at that point. it's hard to imagane a hospital as figgin big the U is not having beds avaiable .

Good gawd. just talked to her. She has had a busy morning already,  but she's still in one of the ER rooms.

Think it has something to do with the hospitals changing to private rooms. With all the privacy laws etc, nowadays it's taking up spaces.

at the point i talked to her.......they never said anything. i dont really know how much  to expect on a sunday, but they seem to be pretty fully staffed at all times down there.   i mean at 10 last night we talked to a Neurologist..he called himself a stroke dr.

talked to my bride about 4 yesterday she finally got into a room!!!!! her eye seems to be returning back to normal.

talked to her just a bit ago......she may get to go home tomorrow or wed.  seems she's getting some kind of rash........doing therapy so we can only hope!!!!
