Reputedly a 50% chance of rain here after 10 a.m. Looking like it's tracking farther north tho so betting we'll get dry cleaned again. Would be nice to get enough to wet the ground. I don't wanna look like I've been working up a dry peat slough when I mow the backyard. Amazing how we can go from over 8" of rain in August to just shy of a half inch so far in September.

just checked the forecast.......it goes out to the 13th of Oct. good grief no rain in the forecast for that whole stretch!!! :surrender: :pouty:

i seen a piece on the news this past week that with the lack of rain you should water the perennial flowers to they are set up for winter.

Started doing that the other day. Soaked the shrubs, rhubarb, & peonies. Gave the peppers & snap peas a drink too while I was at it. Busted a branch off one of the pepper plants that actually had a couple decent peppers on it.  :coffee:
