The downspouts were running a little early this morning, but I checked our gauge and found nothing measurable.

Reputedly a 50% chance of rain here after 10 a.m. Looking like it's tracking farther north tho so betting we'll get dry cleaned again. Would be nice to get enough to wet the ground. I don't wanna look like I've been working up a dry peat slough when I mow the backyard. Amazing how we can go from over 8" of rain in August to just shy of a half inch so far in September.

Started doing that the other day. Soaked the shrubs, rhubarb, & peonies. Gave the peppers & snap peas a drink too while I was at it. Busted a branch off one of the pepper plants that actually had a couple decent peppers on it.  :coffee:

We have 47 but the feels like is 37.  Our winds are stronger than I thought.  24 gusting to 35.  Sunny then cloudy and misty back and forth.

The Duluth weather guy was talking about a little of white stuff for the Grand Marais & the Ashland/Bayfield areas this afternoon. He also had a pic of 1/2-1" of it on the ground from this weekend that was from just north of Silver Bay.

Phone says 35, 1 thermometer says 30, the other 32. There's some steam coming off the lake.

The 1 in the garage had 36 ~6, the 1 in the house that has the sensor out on the outhouse was 35. Went out for a bit Thursday afternoon & still had 58 for surface temp then. The lake should be turning over pretty quick, if that wind yday didn't already get it started.

We have 51 and I should have known cuz that is exactly what the weather man said it would be.  Also we just had a rain happening.  Got everything wet but no measurable amounts with my system.

Had about 20 raindrops this afternoon. We’ve had a really nice gentle rain for at least an hour. Hoping it keeps up a lot longer.

i took my rain gauges in a while back, but i put out a bunch of 5 gallon pails to save some rain water for my wifes inside plants over the winter. there's maybe an inch some pails 2 inches of water in it!!!! hoping to get 2-3 gallons.

i checked the extended forecast that goes till nov 2...........around here no site of anything below freezing......up at the cabin possibly 2 nights!!!!! :doofus: crazy!!!!!!!

We had a few sprinkles about 3 but it didn't last, then again around 4 but the same with that. Later, ~ 7:30-8, we got a nice light rain & that lasted 'til around 10-10:30. I pulled our gauges the 1st part of this week.
