Mornin all, 26 here & we're looking to hit 43. No rain or snow here yday but the grass was a little crunchy yet when I went out to the burn barrel early from Friday's precip. Glad we stayed above freezing while we were getting that. Pretty sure we'll be going for a paper here in a bit as we decided not to get 1 last weekend. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

I finished tuning up the skid loader bucket yesterday. It fits nice and tight now, no more flopping around. Don't know what I'm going to do now. Maybe put that enclosed trailer back in garage and start in on that. Replace a couple sheet metal pieces under the floor, replace fenders with correct ones and try to buff out the surface rust around the screws holding the sheet metal on. Might even Waines coat the bottom too with 16ga aluminum diamond decking. Some rusted out holes in the walls. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  We have 27 and like a broken record could see 39 again today.  I did see it hit 40 yesterday.  Man Mark, you may have to go into business fixing things you do such a good job.   :happy1:  Good to hear you are progressing nicely Scenic.  It keeps getting a little browner here every day.  That will help it warm up eventually.  I see we have a breeze here but not bad yet.  Man did my jerky turn out great! I was a little short of liquid volume when I mixed up the brine so added a jag of apple juice.  Worked great.  Now I have quality snacks for awhile.  Watched the Twins lose yesterday.  Not sure what to do today.  Will have to figure that out as I go.  Have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 at choretime and that's prolly gonna be the daytime high altho it was still 37 after midnite. 1.43" of rain the past 24 hrs. at the ranch. More to the north in roony's country looks like after reading the rain gauge reports from that direction. Almost 3" near Owatonna in the one gauge. Have a visitation today sometime. Still awaiting my marching orders from the social director. Hopefully she pins a note on my shirt. Tonite after chores we're going out to supper with some friends to celebrate birthdays I guess. Hoping I can squeeze in another nap like yesterday only today I'm going to tell the wife to turn the ringer on her phone off. I had a real classic going until that damn thing rang...

Morning boys. 21 here and heading for 34 it says. Had fun ice fishing. Not a lot of keepers but caught some fish. Pulled the little skid house up on shore last night. Will use portable for the rest of the season. Otherwise just another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  We have 19 and may see 37 today.  At least it freezes the mud overnight.  Had to bathe Jake yesterday.  He is lower to the ground and has that long hair hanging down so he is like velcro to the mud.  Cooper comes in pretty clean.  ??  It is a slow melt this year.  The warmth from below should be pushing up soon. No big plans for the day and that is fine with me.  Have a good one.
