And don't use a debit card unless absolutely positively necessary.   With a credit card you have a number of actual legal rights regarding fraud etc.   A debit card you have the fine print in the issuer's policy and practices...not much in the way of actual legal stuff.

Sounds to me you need to bank elsewhere.  Actually the wife and I discussed a while back about being that person inline writing an old fashion check, if not use cash. Too many people in a hurry, rip up to the pump put your card in fill and go.cards flying all over the place.

No kiddin'! Found a CC last week laying on the floor at the store....turned it in to lost and found right away. Hope the person got it back.  :undecided:
Agree with Boob too, maybe get a better financial institution. My unauthorized use of card was debit (twice) and my CU says I'm not liable for anything, if I catch it and report it within 30 days to them...I did and everything was immediately credited back within 3 days, while they investigated.

I use credit cards not debit cards.   Don't believe me?   Check out the difference in your legal protection for yourself.

Morning Boys. 28* to start the day here, supposed to make it to 34* today. I picked up a new alternator for my Track Truck at Napa last night. Mine had one extra post that I had to split the alternators to switch out. Got that all done now I can take the core back and get that refunded back to my CC. I use my CC about everywhere I go. Need to rack up my Cabelas bucks. Not much else happening. Just another day in paradise. Have a good on.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Mornin Boys.  Ya 28 here and rising.  The weather I mean.   :rotflmao:  Speaking of that I suppose Mikey is getting Viagra by the 5 gal pail now.  SO the hermit now needs a new furnace.  Was fine when he was baching it.  AND now he needs a new snowblower too.  ???  When will it end?  He must have done the have her shovel test and it didn't go well.  She didn't smile much evidently whilst shoveling the driveway.  Well I am going to make a tuna salad today.  I do a pretty good batch.  May get the fish house going again too.  When the wife left for work she gave me a kiss and then said "be careful".  She was halfway to the garage and I had to step out and said "what do you mean be careful?.  Of what?".  She said of the slippery roads when I go to the store......   Here I thought I had forgotten some dangerous chore or something. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

God, I love this....Chrissie's slowed-down 12 string version is better than her original, IMO. She's still got it....including those smoky green eyes.... :wowza:
This was one of the most juke-box played songs when I was bar tending. Sure takes me back... :undecided:

Morning boys. 27* to start the day here heading for 33* TWC says. It did a little melting yesterday. Well our plans to start cutting firewood this weekend were caboshed yesterday. They broke the skidder and are hoping to get it fixed this weekend. So, that just means we will have to ice fish this weekend instead. Not a bad alternative i guess. When I get home tonight I will get the new alternator put back in my track truck. I also ordered a new 10" ion x that is supposed to arrive today. Sportsmans Guide had a 10% off over a $100 special. Brought the price down to $535. So I ordered it. Now i will get to try it out tomorrow. Oh boy!! Well, just another day in paradise. Have a good one boys!

Good people. Catch some good ones, post the pics and make Glenn jealous.  ;)  Nothing new here in Swampville; 30* and headed for 40* later and clear out. Just gonna putter today. Maybe all day....because I CAN.  Have a good Friday, guys.

Mornin gents, back in Ia & it's 24* for our start. Got back ~ 5 yday as the delivery guys left Mom's a little after noon. They were on their game , in & out in 45 minutes. It took us another 2 1/2 hours to get things back in order but it went smoother than I thought it would. :happy1: Seen 42* on the van as I was pullin it back in the gararge yday up there. As far as the card issue, no debit here( fees if not used enough)), my CC is through the local CU where I've always had great CS. I do quite a bit online using Paypal whenever I can & pretty diligent on checking all my finances at least twice a week. Enough on that, lookin like a mellow day here, hopin you enjoy your Friday

Morning boys.  Caught a few on the river yesterday.  Felt great to get in the fish house again.  Man JB I don't know if you have ever used an electric auger before or not.  I had not even heard one run before I got mine.  So I turn the heat on in the house.  I quietly just walk in with the auger.  No warming it up and having an engine stinking up the house.  No noise.  Drop it in the hole and it is so smooth and quiet.  Then reverse and it really does push the ice back in river.  I love it.  Lot of money but worth it.  It's about 17 here now.  Looks like another nice day.  Will do some work for awhile and then go fishing this afternoon.  Ya tires are spendy these days Rebs.  I used to buy cars cheaper than what a set of tires cost now.

It's ain't the Ford! It's the Good-for-a-year factory junk tires! They're rated terrible for mileage...(Goodyear SRA Wranglers) Plus the lousy roads in this glitz & glimmer town don't help, place is known for terrible roads. Glittery hotels are far more important here.

On my explorer the original firestones were recalled and I scored Michelins.   Those were great tires.   When the factory junk on my Highlander goes, I'm putting on Michelins....
