My buddy Billy in Bemidji made sure yesterday he had plenty of tincture on hand. Not much happening here presently. Kinda thundered, rained hard for 5 minutes an hour or so ago then motored north. Fine by me. I started at noon yesterday and it took until 9 o'clock last night to get everything covered, repaired, drained, cleaned up, watered, stored, moved, put away, etc., but we got 'er done. Mrs. Cheviot is coming home a little earlier than planned so I had to mop up some of the GT aftermath this a.m. I hope she doesn't try to chase me around. I'm already tuckered!

Good morning, don't want to be that guy but it's going to be 71 and sunny today , but a cool off over the weekend. Big night in the burgh, there is light up night for the holidays, concerts, 3 high school championships today at Heinz field that I might check out and probably stop at the casino. No snow here yet.  Looks like it may stay south of us.  No deer yet neither.  Will sit for awhile tonight.  Don't feel too confident with all of this wind but who knows.  They need to move around eventually.  May just be when I am watching.

I have at least 5 or 6 inches here in Andover according to what's on my pattio rails and on my truck and van.  Doesn't look like I'm going tomorrow up north.  Back and forth in my mind, go or no go.  The roads are bad from here to up north and it will take time to plow and sand or salt.  good luck.

Back in my younger days we would have got a case of beer cracked one and took off.  The weather would have made it more fun.  Now I don't crack a beer and drive even on a nice day.  And I stay home if the weather is bad.  Man have we got boring....  lol  Well I went out and sat in the deer stand this morning.  Not for long though.  Woke up to a barely white ground and thought this is great.  But it was only 21 degrees out and windy.  No problem, I put my propane heater in the stand last night.  Well I lit it up and sat down and about 40 minutes later I ran out of propane.  lol   I lasted another 20 minutes since I didn't dress for no heat.  Now I am having coffee with my wonderful wife and about to have  a Reb style breakfast with a big hint of RH...  Homemade bacon with some eggs and toast.  May try to work up the courage to go fishing for awhile later.  Although the high for the day is 28 for here.  Will see how bad the wind is.  Otherwise make some Ice Rigs.  Never have enough of them.     The wife has Hallmark stuff on.  I told her all of those pretty people are really porn stars and this is their second job....  lol

lol...that's a good one LPS. Hafta remember that. Mrs. Cheviot watches those Hallmark chick flicks all the time. I hear ya RH. I put barn cleaning on hold as the NW winds are still clipping pretty good. No cab or functional heat houser makes me think there will be better days. Besides I'm old. Will haul a bale over to the critters at the neighbors after a spell then make a feed run. Since I'll be halfway there anyway may as well make it a FF run. There's lotsa inside stuff like freezing squash to do when I get back. Mrs. Cheviot got home then took off on a shopping spree of her own this a.m. & won't be back until she's sure I have the squash frozen & chores all done. Funny how that works.

We have 30 degrees,no snow, & a 20 mph NW wind here in N Ia. today. Read a post from someone who lives on the lake we are on, Winnie area, & they had 14" of wet heavy snow as of 1:30 pm yesterday. No travel & all the local towns were suspending all services about that same time. Have a good weekend guys.

Morning Fellers. We did not even get white ground up here over the weekend. Did not see a deer for the wife to shoot either. Only seen a doe and 2 fawns. Oh well, maybe next year. I am glad the snow stayed south of us. need the ground to freeze first. No ice on the lake yet either. We had 19 degrees this morning. At least it is cooling off. Have a good one.

Yup me too JB 19 here too.  Well sad news I took the boat out for the winter and turned the dock towards shore.  I did catch a couple of fish to have for breakfast with eggs yesterday morning which was good.  No deer for me this year yet.  Maybe I will try for one with the crossbow.  I should have shot that doe earlier with my crossbow but I passed her up.  Oh well.

Morning fellas. Boy the brotherly love just flows over here.  Makes it a fun place to stop in to visit. Well we had about an inch of snow and snow hard when we left the house the morning. The closer we got to Warroad the morning it turned into freezing rain. Looked more like a skating rink. I guess that is fitting though since it is "Hockey Town USA"  . Well not much new here, just another day in the salt mine. Happy it is a short week. Planning to smome a turkey for turkey day. Have a good one.

Good morning all.  Ya cold and windy here.  Hope it gets the bad weather done before T Day.  Don't need anyone having troubles driving then.  They are now saying mid 30's for the next few days.  Hopefully that is a good thing????   So glad I have the boat out now.  Will check in later.
