Hi ya fellas, thank God this Monday is over with. Tough enough at bustinazzville during the day, but mamma called and said her little suv had no battery power. No big deal, the kid dropped her off in the morning so I would pick up a battery then pick her up.  Everything was good, until I punched out and finally found a battery at my 5th store and 150 bones later...WTF are they making these batteries out of lately ? Sheesh.

Yup i too am thankfull mon is over. crazy day on mondays running propane. yeeeshh. two more days and a wake up and Ill be in duluth for xmas. leaving al the family drama behind and shackin up in a ritzy hotel with the family for a do what ever we want Xmas. hot tubs jacuzzys pools, movie night, pizza night, cool resturant night, and what ever comes out way. looking forward to it. Hope every one has a merry christmas!

Morning all. 30* here this morning and blowing snow. Enjoy the weekend Boar. Sounds like a good plan. Made it thru another Monday, now on to the rest of the week. My big plans for the xmas weekend will be to get out on the lake fishing. We have a major breaker out front of our place now, so that will make it a more challenging winter. When it popped around 3 am Monday morning it shook the whole house. It is amazing the power behind the ice. Well another day in paradise. Have a good one all.

Man is it windy here.  I posted this on the Truck went through thread.  A buddy just showed me a pic of a Ice Castle on Red with a bug crack underneath it.  Looked like a scary deal.  Maybe one of you can find it.  Well been catching a few fish in the river.  Feels great to sit in the fish house.  Especially close to home.  I heard the lake is doing well too but don't know any details as in what is able to be driven out.  Have a good one.

Mornin everyone, one wake up and its outi 5000, trying to crack the whip on the wife to find our purchase agreement on the wheeler, that aint going so well, I am gona start with the dealer first. we go right by it on the way to duluth, so were gona have a talk. The oldest didnt wanna come to T day, now it looks like she dont wann come to Xmas either. what wrong with kids these day, what gets in there head wiith the idea that no matter how much a parent loves and give, it aint good enough, and if I dont like wat u say I just turn my back. If I turned my back on my father, Id get wrap up side the noggin to get the paint ball rolin again. anywho.. temps are gonna be good but are we gonna get snow!?

Good luck with the wheeler buddy. I here ya about the kids. Tryiing to get the daughter to come up with the kids and her hubby is like pulling teeth. They won't be able to come up until the weekend after new years to have our xmas with them. The wife gets more frustrated then I do. She really misses the grandkids. Oh yeah morning all. Just another day in paradise and the snow is rally come down this morning. The weather gurus are talking about a big dumping of snow on xmas day up here.  I am really hoping it magically misses us. The ice is off to a good start, we don't need snow to slow it down. Have a good one all!!

Yup good morning boys.  Hey look at that fish house over the crack.  I didn't realize it till a friend showed me.  See the snow banking that was where the house was sitting originally?  And the fishing holes are there too.  So I wonder if when the crack was occurring it slid the house over?  If so imagine how that would have felt to have your house sliding over.  Although they may have slid it that way to help avoid the crack too.  That is a lot of talk about cracks without some of HD's fishing gals isn't it???     Ok the snowing is slowing down here for now.  May have about 4" I am thinking.  Will have some to bank the fish house now.  Could barely scrape any snow up before.  Man I am looking forward to this Christmas weekend.  The wife and I are going to make seafood and pig out on it.  Will sit in the fish house with a cocktail or two.  And may even watch some movies.  The family is a long ways from us so this will be a nice relaxing weekend.  We will call Mom and Dad on Christmas.

Yes that crack moved the house while they were inside.  They then slid the house across the crack with a truck before lifting up the wheels.  I. Sure that would make you're butt cheeks pucker if you were inside.

Just wait till you retire, you do what you want and rest when you want.  What a bunch of BS.  Not really complaing but that's what I told myself.  i have the perfect wife, really.  I wish everyone would have a wife like her, and maybe some do.  She cares about me doing what I want.  She knows my love of the outdoors.  One problem however, ME.  I feel guilty leaving for the day at times because I could get something done that needs it.  I promised myself again this year.  i will fish more and hunt more.  Well on the hunting front I did something I never did before, muzzleloading, and man did I love that.  I don't give a damn if I don't get some venison, but I sure would like it as a bonus.  Ground up a little pork and lots of beef of some spicy bacon summer sausage today.  will stuff it tomorrow and get'r done also.  Took my wife for therapy on her knee and then went shopping for stocking stuffers at Fleet Farm.  Busy day.  Seems like every day is a busy day.  good luck.
