Got my Jd2510 purring again today. Paid big bucks for a carburetor rebuild kit and that did the trick. Been running my in floor heat and my wood stove in the shop this week. Got things nice and toasty before the big cool down. Been making firewood off and on. I think I got enough for a couple years at least.

Man, I'm not sure I'm ready for snow yet lps, you take this round. Afternoon peoples well the pooch passed the 0200 walk this morning doing his business so I could go to work with momma otta town.  Had a different furnace company over earlier fir a second opinion and yep this 12 yr old is junk. Sooo tomorrow morning the new one is going in, kinda cool too the upgrade of thermostat I can control anywhere with my phone, that'll be nice when coming back from the lake when we usually turn the a/c off. Anyhow the pooch and I have no heat tonight so the fireplace is getting the nod not too mention leftover chili, ya that'll help...See ya!!

It sure does. Sounds like carrier had heat exchanger issues for a few yrs so at least I'm getting some money back for the not so old one..

Snowing like a mother now.  Can't even see the river and the wind is howling.  Did some garage cleanup this morning and started the first fire of the year.  So nice to go out there and putz.  Or sit and watch TV and relax by the fire.

i just checked the webcams on bowsting and the narrows......no snow there yet.......maybe its all at gunners house!!!!!!!

I figured we were out of the woods when I found out you were back in CS.                     Just a little graupel on the recycle cans here when I was out an hour ago. Mn DOT says 46 is icy from about Squaw Lake north though.

mornin all, 22 here and might go up 3 more..   the freeze has landed..  got a couple things to do today and one is going to Alex..  FF has a pizza oven on sale for $49.99, $35.oo off..  mine works when it wants to only...   darn thing..  and I like pizza!!!   got all my errands done yesterday too...   have a good day all..

Morning boys.  I just measured and we have exactly 6" on the deck.  It is a strong north wind today.  The windmill is just buzzing.  Fun to have the wife home today.  WE will shovel the deck off.  lol  Will get  a fire going too.  Too bad there isn't some football on today.

Mornin guys, 28* here & that looks to be the high today as well. Still lightly snowing here, not sure we have even 2" on the ground though. Not real windy here either. I may take the Grizzly up & down the driveway just to see if there's even enough for the plow to move. Otherwise.................. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

morning fellers.......looks like gunner got a little snow. got a few projects in mind today......have a bin for camping stuff i'm gonna clean out...my camping days are done. gonna head to st cloud to get a few things then go see momma for a bit. granddaughter texted me said she wont be home sat when i planned on going......she's taking her out and about......and she dont know it yet!!! gotta love it.

Got a little running around this morning, then collect and process deer hides and then most likely after dark, off to the land. Plan to hunt Saturday and then see what Sunday brings.

Mornin' comrades! 24 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 20's. Beautiful day in So. Calisota. Battling the heater in the one water tank after replacing it. May be a bad extension cord end so put a different cord on it. GFCI appeared to be holding so will see at noon. Nothing to worry about. My red plaid-clad governor will take care of me. Think I'll close down I 35 to protest the weather/climate change later today, maybe tear down some statues while I'm at it.

In deer stand this morning. Nephew shot a 7 point this morning. I Just got cold that's all. I was able to get the new Vikings board going, and no glenn it didn't work like you said. It helped some, but I had to go another route to get there. Thanks again lps. Time to start looking for something for lunch, later....

So got the deck shoveled off.  We may have 8" in some spots in the yard.  I didn't want to plow cuz the ground is still soft so I just drove over it and packed it down.  I had to jump my plow truck again to get it started.  Went to Auto Value and they did the battery test for me.  Completely shot battery.  It has been in for 6 years when I made this my plow truck.  I got an 800 CCA, the old one was 660 CCA.  Nothing $185 can't take care of.  Plowing has to be hard on batteries so it was time.  I've never had a pizza oven Mike.  Does it work better than the oven?  Maybe crisper?  And Dotch I read this morning about the climate wackos pouring stuff on classic art at galleries.  Lock them up and throw away the key.

I have used a bar type pizza oven for years..   and love it..  no heating up the oven..  cooks at 450 or there abouts...
