Glenn, thanks for the heads up on the NFL in Germany thing.  Just turned it on.  And no this is the first year I haven't gotten a deer license since I was 15 or 16.  Just wasn't into it.  Plus wouldn't even have room in the freezer for one.  Just enjoying seeing youse guys pics and conversations about it.

Headed to the BILs after lunch to cut up his deer and watch Vikes. My turn to pick up hides starting tomorrow. Not sure what I'll do with them, trailer is full, 280 in it now. I'll think of something, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

hey Gunner!!  do you fellers stop in Osage??  I see that Fox River Mills is from there...   I wear the socks they make all winter, darn good stuff!!!    :happy1:
Not on our way home from here but when we go to Austin we do. They have a locker right on Main St. & we like their sausage & bacon. Sis really likes these https://www.socksaddict.com/collections/fox-river-socks/products/fox-river-wool-work-thermal-boot-socks-2-pack but they often go down to the big sale they have at the fairgrounds every year & get theirs. https://foxsox.com/pages/annual-sock-sale-event. Yeah, they make a good product.

Mornin' comrades! 25 at choretime heading for a high in the low 30's. Some light flurries again today. Some excitement overnite. Mrs. Cheviot is in Louisville where she fell & broke her ankle. Be on a mission shortly to get her car out of Park N Fly. She won't get home until tonite sometime so be plenty of time to get thru the house with the skidsteer. Her ankle will likely require surgery according to what they told her there. Am sure it'll mean me driving her to lots of Dr.'s appts. Good thing I made a pie yesterday. I'm gonna need it.

Well wishes for the Mrs. dotch and a speedy recovery. Be patience. Spending some time at hospital and clinic with my wife too. Light stroke two weeks ago. Got to get her back to work so I get the remote back. Tired of Home and Garden Tv.
Looks like an inch or two of snow on the driveway, and our deer hides, to contend with today. I'm no way ready for Winter yet. Going to be a long day today. More coffee first and give it hell when the sun shows up, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  Markn sorry about the wife's stroke.  Here is hoping she gets over it quickly.  We are all entering that mode in life now that some of us are approaching early early middle age.  LOL  Not a lot going on today.  Mayhaps some recycling and hit the grocery store.  Have a great day.

Mornin gang, 23 with light snow & headed towards 27 again. We found out our small chest freezer died sometime in the last couple days, so we've been busy. The food is outside in totes & coolers for now, but we are looking for a new 1. So, it's looking like it might be a pretty long day here. Better roll, have a good 1.

Mornin' comrades! 25 at choretime heading for a high in the low 30's. About 3/4" of snow officially although it looks like there's more than that in the grass. The ground is white and that sucks. More forecast over the next couple days so that'll expedite the process of moving the sheep from the other pasture. Need to get the wife's ankle situation stabilized 1st. Has an appt. this afternoon so will see how that goes. Burning the candle at both ends and in the middle. Poppy loves the snow. Makes her even wilder than before and that ain't helpin'. Sorry to hear about your wife's stroke markn. Hope she makes a quick, full recovery. Good luck freezer hunting Gunner. Next weekend I may stick all the stuff from the one freezer in the Buick then defrost the freezer.

We're thinking that it's better that it quit working now, than when we're not here. :doah: Got 1 at L & M & were back here by 1:30. :happy1: They had 3 left & were closing 'em out. Not much more than the old 1, $190.

Yeah, we know as our sister & BIL came up 1 time quite a while ago to find the freezer had died, what a mess. :doah: Found out that there'd been a power outage & when then power came back on, the freezer didn't. It was an old freezer too though.
