mornin all,  nice looking day out there.. going up towards 40...going to fire up the smoker grill today some good lunch, 3 pound rib eye roast..  not much more than that today...,   sure hope everyone has a good and safe day today....  eat lots of turkey!!!!!

Man does that sound good Mike.  We have a 10 lb Butter Ball turkey.  I will ad lib that sausage creamcheese dressing.  Great day today.  Vikes game, no Dallas game due to Dish and CBS feud then the other game.  Forgot what it is.  lol

Get up, you lazy, bloated, turkey-stuffed slugabeds!! It' already 45* with the sun comin' up, headed for 59*! Chicky on the grill wedder! Got this super-cool pic of the sun almost up over forming ice on Mille Lacs a few minutes ago, just to start yer special little days out! Up and at 'em!  HYA! Move 'em out!!!

mornin all, a great day yesterday!!  my roast turned out perfect and the smoked eggs came out good too!!  what is with the warm weather today and the next few days!!!  ice will be gone if we get some wind...  got some laundry going this morning and a few small things to do today.  so an easy day!!  have a great day all!!

mornin all, 26 here going for 36.  it was warm yesterday, 47 for a high.  the ice is not getting better at all...  not much going on today so just go with the flow and see what happens..  have a good day all!!!

Morning kids. 33* going for 41*here, we set a record high yday of 61* and sunny. Just started the gas grill at 5:30 last nite, and it started pouring....%$#@! Had been over yakking with the new neighbor...Had to do the chicky inside. Nothin' goin' on here, except the NL is coming over later...   stoopid cable company ran their cable UNDER her vinyl siding (NOT the way to do it) and a tree limb fell on the cable, ripping it down the length of her siding...and right thru it. I say they're responsible; instead of using nylon cable clamps with screws and break-away house connections, they screwed it underneath her siding....to it. (It's new siding, too) Case would be to prove negligence in this matter, and improper install = negligence in my book. We'll see what happens...have a good day guys. Go do some laundry, Mikey. Give ya sumpn' to do.

Morning boys. Sun shining and 10 above this morning. Heading for the 20s. Gonna warm up next week. Showing 40 Monday and mid 30s all week. Still have some open water out front on the big lake.what was looking like some early ice fishing is now looking like it may take awhile. Time to make some breakfast. Blueberry pancakes and sausage. Have a good one.

Morning boys.  Sausage is in the pan simmering, having coffee, and John Gillespie is on.  The wife hates him so may have to turn channels when she comes back in the room.  lol  Have a fire in the garage wood burner.  12 here now but a beautiful day.  The river opened  back up the other day but is frozen again this morning.  More left overs today.  The sausage dressing turned out great!!!  Will have to write it down now.  The turkey was good too.

Good evening guys, back in Ia since about noon. It must've made 40+ here today but that NW wind made it feel a little on the cool side. Had a good turkey day as it was only the 6 of us. We ran in to that rain too Reb as we where just getting out of your town about 4:30. Got some Xmas shopping done Friday & put up Mom's tree this morning before splitting town. Been a good weekend already & still got another day to go. Take care all & yak at ya some more tomorrow.

The last day of the Holiday.  Went out on the river last night.  Caught 4 nice walleyes and a sauger.  Didn't go out too far but there was 4" of ice.  Gonna freeze the rest of the turkey and have baked walleye today.  Real cloudy here is see.  I see a buck has been rubbing on a pine tree about 70 yards from the house.  I was hunting in the wrong spot...  lol

naw, I was a good feller... visited with a few folks and had some beer was all...  watch a hand full of folks have salted nut roll shots, 5 or 6 bucks a shot!!  I'll stay with my one dollar tap beer!!   hey Rebs I even seen a couple blondes but they had uppity written all over them.....  send them back to the cities....
