Thanks, Gunner. I know a lot of folks go thru this stuff, but it's hard for me with no other family and the fact I wasn't able to see her the last couple years....wondered what she was doing, if she was OK, etc. Just takes a lot out of ya. Life in the big city, I guess.Ya, I know, whine, whine, whine.  I'll get thru it, like we all do.

Thanks, Del. Losing the rest of my family was bad, but it was easier than this. The bitch of it is my Mom doesn't remember anything from one minute to the next, and how do you tell her anything? They have no phone service, because the bills aren't being paid, because they think they've paid them, which they (Her and her dorkhead husband) refuse to believe. Their safety is a huge issue, and thankfully, now his license to drive is being pulled by Doc. That's gonna be a REAL blast; he gets really ballistic and nasty, which gets worse with Alzheimers...and this has all come about in the last year, when I wasn't able to see her. Kinda like getting smacked in the mug with a wet fish all of a sudden.

That Dementia is awful stuff.   My buddies mom had that, and it was a mess.   Just remember that now it isn't personal, no matter what happened in the past.

Maybe some of that medical weed or the free enterprise colorado variety would help you all.   :smoking:

Now California is on the recreational wagon.  I'm thinking it may be good for many people to light up now and then.  -29 here.  I am getting tired of it.  Looks like it will break in a couple of days.  May need some medical you know what (from above).  lol  Boss wouldn't like it though.  Oh well have a good day all of you.

Hey I just notice my thing above said https until I started doing the good morning thing.  Oops no here it says not secure.  When I go to the weather channel it say secure.

Morning boys. Had -23 when we left for work this AM. Like you said Barry, just a couple more days of it. It certainly has been a long stretch of cold. Not much else happening. Have a good one.

I'm really getting burnt out on this brutal cold.  A move south is looking more appealing every day.  I just don't fight off this cold weather like I did 20 years ago.  But when I think about what I'd give up if I did move south, it's not all that appealing. Like most Minnesotans, I've got well over 50 lakes withing a half hour of home.  The folks up here are a special kind.  I can't imagine how I'd fit in down south where they talk weird, and would say I'm the one with an accent.  Guess I'll stay for a while.......

try pulling a 100lb fuel hose thru this crap all day, for people that don't help make a path and their tank is at the nd stretch of the hose cause they don't wanna see the tank outside their wind, so they hide in the brush out back, and don't clean up the dog crap and piss and ya got help feed the hose around the spool and it slips thru your glove full of piss and crap.....cold..tough to just run out to the car and start it. :rotflmao:

Mornin guys, only -1 for our start. I think we got close to double figures above zero before we left Waterloo yesterday morning & then we'd get out of the car into that wind, only to be reminded of what it was really felt like. I thought I seen a couple days in a row, Sunday & Monday, with the high in the low 30's in our forcast. :happy1: Not much happening here, have good 1

Gee, it's gripe about the wedder day! I can do dat! O, good morning! I've had it with the cold, too. Makes my back hurt more, the RA starts throbbing, I get all stiff (shutup Mikey and Glenn!) and it's just plain tough to move around at all. GG, agree with yer thoughts, but the only thing I have 50 of within half an hour of my home is idjits.  And this stoopid city is proving itself the biggest one of all, did it again yday. Del agrees with that one. And Boar, I haveta pull a hose around everytime I head into the bathroom.......have a good one, guys. You too, Mikey!  :rotflmao:  I NEED cawfee!  :coffee:

Good morning guys, I agree with all of you this cold weather is getting old. I know I'm whining to the wrong group but it's been below freezing here since Christmas Eve day and won't go above until Sunday. At least we're going to miss the storm coming up on the east coast. Y'all have a good day and keep warm.
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

We set a record down here in the banana belt...11 days below zero in a row...including the highs.  Last time we had that was in the 70's, so said the wedder morjits last nite.  Now they're talking about the "snow bomb cyclone" out east. I wish I could get paid to come up with these stoopid bling phrases.  How about "sub-zero azz bomb" for here??
