If there were gonna give Minnysoda an enema, I think CAWchester is where they'd stick it in.

58* and still dark. Waiting for the week of heavy rains here in Swampville so we can get washed down to the Gulf of Mexico.  Have a good one, guys. Watch out for the snow.  :coffee:

I expect a full weather report later from the Delmation Wedder Station in SW CAWchester.   :rotflmao:

Ooooh I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. Wait a minute, it is not Christmas, but it sure is white outside. :censored: :doah: :mad1:. what happened to the 60 and sunny we had last week. And the wind has been howling off the lake since Saturday and the forecast is for windier tomorrow  :doah: :mad1:. Oh yah, Good morning all  :happy1:. Just another day in paradise. I am dazed and confused. I put my wife's car back together last Saturday and now it only blows warm are when driving. When sitting at idle it blows cold air. I had to replace the valve cover gaskets and to do that I had to take off the water crossover piece on the side of the motor. Only thought I have right now is maybe thermostat is stuck open. Runs at normal temp going down the road. It is a 2008 chevy impala 3.5 liter motor. Any thoughts from my fellow MNO buddies? Have a ggod one.

Reb, I only paste weather reports, beyond what I get looking out the window.     Sunny this morning.

Jerkbiat, there isn't a vacuum line that could have gotten messed up, disconnected, etc during the process is there?

Hi guys, back south of the border. Got home about 2:30 yesterday & wow was the drive from Faribault home a windy 1. Upper 50's this morning early & the rain is just started here. A lot cooler & wetter here the next few days too. Told them down at the watering hole we had snow Sunday & they accused me of bringing the crappy weather with me. Didn't see more than 4 or 5 out in the fields on the drive Monday. Local radio said nobody has their corn in & last year 30% did. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Morning all. Just another windy and cold day in the north land. Had 28 this morning, I think the high is only supposed to be 31. The winter we didn't have just doesn't want to let go. confused-3316.gif. Change the thermostat in the car last night and still blows cold air at idle. :bonk: . I am thinking an air lock maybe. I will  for a while before taking the next step. Have a good one.

How fast does the warm air start when you start driving?

I am still thinking some sort of linkage or something could have gotten messed up.

If it was an airlock in the heater core, wouldn't it blow cold all the time?

Rain. 51* Lucked out with 1/4" last nite. No huge deluge like the wedder morjits said. Rain, sleet, snow and blizzards on the way. Must be that polar vortex blown down by the El nino that got moved around by the sirocco winds.

Jerkbait: On the chebby, you need to "burp" the heat exchanger after a T-stat replacement, or you will have an "air lock"
in the system...which are the classic symptoms you're experiencing. After you bleed the system, make sure to top off the coolant. Also pressure check that cap while yer at it.

Finally made it up to the North Shore yesterday.  Met up with my brother at his house in Duluth and left for the North Shore.  Rained off and on all day but the temps were in the 40's for the most part.  Drove past Silver Bay to Beaver Bay and stopped and fished Large and smaller streams back down.  At Gooseberry we caught a few wild lake run brook trout [coasters].  Largest 15 inches but we had no intention of keeping any of those anyway.  You can only keep them if they are over 20 inches.

We seen many steelhead and loopers spawning.  Many swimming right by our feet.  They were not interested in biting at all.  We did have a few on but none landed.  It was a great day to be up there.  Next week I'm going up to Grand Marias for two days to fish up there in those streams.  good luck.

Man that sounds like fun RH.  We love to go to Grand Marais.  We stay at the Best Western so we have a great view of the lake.  Been a couple of years so we are getting the urge.  24 when I woke this fine morning.  Snowing now and windy.  Yuck....   Going to be in the 50's this weekend.  Looks like all of you south of here are really getting the snow and freezing rain.  May have to get the fish house ready to put back out.  I  am so glad I didn't get the camper ready yet.  We may use it May 5 weekend.
