Rochester police have arrested a man suspected of sneaking around city neighborhoods peeping into windows.  An officer confronted a man in the 1400 Block of 10th Avenue Southeast at 4 a.m. Wednesday and seized his red cell phone, flashlight and a vibrator.

Police later arrested Rickford Munger, 61, who has a long criminal history of such activity.

Capt. John Sherwin said there was evidence of "peeping" activity on Munger's cellphone, but police talked to women near the Meadow Park neighborhood and they were not certain they had been "peeped" on.

Police had been on the lookout after a number of reports of a suspected "peeper" roaming the city.  Last Saturday a 48-year-old woman was asleep in her bedroom in the 300 block of 6th Street Northwest when she thought she heard the noise of a light bulb breaking.   She told police that when she opened the blinds and looked out she saw a man holding a red cell phone, and he ran off.

At 11:50 p.m. on Monday, police got a call from a man in the 600 block of 2nd Street Northwest who reported seeing a man trying to peek inside his neighbor's window.  Capt. Sherwin said the man chased the "peeper" to the 7th St. NW/North Broadway area.

Listen here, dingleberry Del.....I've arrested ol' Rickford so many times it ain't funny. He wasted hours of my time all drunked up on listerine, lysol, and anything he could find, in the ER so much, all the nurses knew him by name. His parents owned Munger Imports, a Fiat dealer west on 2nd street during the 60's and 70's. (Across from where Sergeant's is know) He was a trouble makin' dirtball then..... :police:

I remember Munger imports.   Back in the day. I had forgotten all about it until you mentioned it.     

I thought the cell phone, vibrator, and flashlight...
A peeper carrying a vibrator, that was a new one for me.....guess I don't get out enough any more.

You bet I do, pookie!! Two of these. It'll blind anyone a block away....no kidding. They're incredible. For about $85 each, you can own one, too! Just like the US and Israeli army does!  :happy1:

29 here too.  Slept like a baby last night.  Ready to go today.  TGIF.  Supposed to get in the 40's today and 50's on the weekend.  It is about time.  The ground is white here as in Dec.  Would sure like to get some outside stuff done this weekend. That is a great looking flashlight Rebs.  I have been looking at different kinds trying to pick one out.  I lost my maglite that was pretty good but not as good as the one you posted I bet.  How long have you had yours?  They last more than a couple of years I hope for $85.  I may order one.

Three years. Should last about forever. Batt is a high-end lithium rechargeable. Just plug into any USB port (I use my computers) and it recharges. Has a readout of current charge level. Tells ya when it fully charged. Tells ya when it needs it. All the bells and whistles. Highly recommend it. Mine have had a lot of use.
They'll light up everything with blinding white light that you can wanna see, up to a block away. They're amazing. Not a toy. Used by the special forces.

O ya. Good morning. 34* and frost, but the sun's finally out. Preparing to go to a funeral for a best friend and former officer I worked together with on my shift.  She passed the other morning suddenly. She just turned 60. NOT looking forward to this.
