Have always liked that song Del.  I also really like Rainy Nights in Georgia (Rochester).  I actually worked on my birthday Rebs.  Didn't even tell the guys it was my birthday till the next day.  My wife took me out to eat and had a cocktail or two.  Just a nice night for the two of us.  We may buy a new TV for both of our birthdays.  ???  TGIF..  Yes I will go to work today too.  Sure could think of things to do here at home though.

Good morning all, it's going to be another smoker today they r calling for 92 degrees without the heat index. The only plans except for staying cool is to go to the casino to watch the Styx tribute band, I saw them last year and they were pretty good and yes I hate to admit it but I was/am a Styx fan. just got back from an 80 plus mile ride, it was great and no one tried to hit me today!!!  yesterday I pulled into a gas station and was pulling in to the pump area and an older lady decided to leave!!!  I stopped and she kept backing out, so I'm backing up but not as fast!!  I hit the horn then she stopped!!!  pulled out like nothing happened, as usual...

It is a dangerous world we live in.  In many ways.  Nice stroke of luck by not getting hit Mike.  So Spicer got tired of all of the heat....  Can't say as I blame him.  Everyday another "challenge" that he has to sugar coat..

Wowzer was that a crazy drive. My car temp said 84 when I hit remer. A mile north it was 64 pouring hail and looked like it was 9:30 at nite. In deer river now. Windy dut clearing out. Gotta go. 27 miles left then I get to have

Nice cool morning here.  Sort of foggy and windy.  Just saw a replay of the clown Puddles Pity Party on Americas Got Talent.  Man he is unreal.  I am getting the urge to start golfing again.  I bought the wife clubs a couple of years ago to try to entice her to join me.  I like to hit the Par 3 at Ottertail with my brother and father when we are there.  That is really a good time.    I think it would feel good just to get out in the morning and hit a few balls again.

Greetings from Swampville. Having a puddles party here, Barry.  74*, Foggy, cloudy, steamy, 100* hume and a 70* dewpoint. Drippy wet everywhere. The huge heavy rains and floods yday netted us a total of 1/2"...the wedder morjits blew it by a country mile, again. Sun came out in the afternoon with a nice breeze. I was grillin' on the deck while they were screaming DANGER DANGER HEAVY RAINS....
Now the humidity's gotta blow outta here so things can dry out. The back 40 is el soggo, it needs mowing. No shaggy lookin' grass in Reb's yard. I'll leave that to Del. Gonna be a few days before I can get the red rocket back there and mow. It's laundry and clean house day here. Gotta make the cemetery run too, and check for damage. Gonna pick up some CSR's at my local Mom 'n Pop, 1.19 lb. Got a butcher buddy there too.  Have a good weekend, guys.

Mornin gents, back in N Ia now. You ain't the only 1 gettin rain Reb as we had 5" yday, most of which came last night between 10:30 & 11:30. Laundry day for me, we've got some phone issues( no dial tone) & a Direct TV cable box on the fritz as well. Fun, Fun , fun!Already made some arrangements to get the last 2 taken care of, so we'll see how it goes. Hope you have a good 1.

Morn'in boys! Already made a run to town for bird food, yard trimming blades, groceries, beer & booze.
Wanted to get it done before it got sultry. We got a little over half an inch, and it's already 80 here.

Furnace motor is sounding like a bearing going out, getting loud. That's my project for tomorrow when the cooler air arrives and I can shut the AC down.

Work on the lawn today....not sure what we'll have for dinner yet, but Mama was talkin brats or burgers. I'm voting burgers...
