Lots more predicted for tomorrow too. We've already broken our record for the YEAR here for precip. It just keeps pilin' up down here Barry.....entire Summers been pretty much storm after storm. $#@!   
Making things grow, saw the first farm stand trucks parked at gas stations fulla sweet corn the other day. Also saw people buying sweet corn in Walmart...and the trucks were parked right outside their lot. Why in the hey would you buy corn in Walmart when you can get it fresh off a local farm truck as you leave the store? The sweetcorn down here is fantastic....

Granted I planted my garden a little later but still it is way behind where you guys are at.  My tomatoes are only 50 cent sized.  Peppers the size of my thumb nail.  I will have to water things tonight.

We've already pulled some Roma's and made marinated cukes & onions.

Peppers, I already have to many....my Mexican friends at work love me cause I'm bringing in bags per week. (Which reminds me to go pick more)

We had dark clouds go over but only got a sprinkle yesterday.  We did water the garden last night.  I am going to have to stake up the tomatoes soon.  Peppers are coming along.  Looks clear as a bell outside right now.  Gonna be another warm one I am thinking.  Hump day boys it is all down hill to the weekend from here.  We can make it.

Morning all. It is crazy Barry how we have been missing out on the rain here. It is really starting to get dry. Normally we are getting the monsoon rains that Rebs is getting. Maybe the state flipped over and instead of NW MN getting swamped it is SE MN getting it. My nickname for this area has always been the arctic rain forest since it is cool and rained a lot. I would say the jet stream is out of whack this summer. My mators are struggling along, not sure I will get much out of them. Have a good one boys!!!

mornin all, another day in the books with the start to this at 69 going for 81.   hope it's not so humid.   got .6 of rain last night which I did not think we were going to get.  we needed it, but not as bad as some areas...  nothing special today so have a good one all!!!

Mornin gents, 72 to start. RAGBRAI'ers already showin up as there's a van & Uhaul across the street setiing up now. We're suppose to see some rain by about noon,1:00. We'll be leaving for Austin today after the Fed Ex man stops by, then headed to the lake early AM, if everything works goes good.Have a good 1 everybody.

I read on WC that it is a drunken whorefest.      What you do is buy a cheap bike and tie it to your vehicle.  Then park a mile (or a few blocks) from town and ride in looking like a cool bicycle rider.  Then you join in the party each night.

Just another day of about 80'ish.  No rain.  I can see the grass gets a little dryer looking each day.  The next 10 days only 10% chance of rain.  Maybe a surprise shower will pop up.  Just the opposite of you Rebs.  Went for a pontoon ride last night.  I love the top on it to keep the sun from beating down on me.  I get enough of that during the day.  Have a good one.

morning.......nice to see the humidity outta here. may get some rain sunday......hopefully. my lawn is so dry i think i could roll it and smoke it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pouring alot of water on the garden. trying to get things in order at home before i head to sin city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
