Had 0 at choretime. Should make a run to almost 10 above. Sun is out so that helps attitudes anyway. Speaking of propane I should prolly check the gauge on mine. The driver usually just fills it but it's never a bad idea to look so there are no ugly surprises. Stopped at the neighbor's to see how my tractor cab project was coming. He's made a lot of progress. Told me it should be on the tractor so I can move snow with it this spring!  ;) He should have it done well before that. Will be nice not to freeze my @ss after all these years.

Morning all.  -12 here today.  Heat wave.  Every day we are getting closer to the warmer weather.  I notice the smoke from the chimney has been from the south the last couple of days.  That is a good sign.

Had 6 above at chore time. Snow predicted for tonite, another 1" - 3" followed by another batch of well below normal temps thru Sunday. Sounds like Monday we get back into the 20's for several days. That should help attitudes at least somewhat.

Mornin boys, the thermostat says it's -16 out there. We got back from GR yday a little before 1 & had a project jump to the top of our list as soon as we got home. The alarm for the septic was going off again, so after we got the groceries put away we took a look at that. Luckily it was just frozen again, so we rounded up the equipment & we got after that. Didn't take us very long as we were taking things apart & back in the garage by 2:15 or so. Hopin for a little calmer day today. Can't wait for the big warm up either, it seems like just about every day the weather guy on the Duluth station is pushing it back another day. A couple small things on the list for today, have good Friday guys.

Well, borgie an I did all our errands early yesterday Gas, Groceries, cancelled fridays Dr appointment.  Other than having to clean up all da snow today if it slows down. Yep just da two of us snowbound fur da day.

So, early dis mornin I snuck into da bedroom while Borgie was still sleepin. I figured I'd romance her wit a beautiful song. So I played her a song dat I figured would fit da occasion. Wrong once again! She awoke and started yellin at me ta "shut dat off."
"Shut da door behind ya" she grawled! :taz: Where did I go wrong??

At least she let's you sleep rather than the merciless pawing I get all night long! I can only hold her off so long before I relent.  :sleazy:

1 above at choretime, another 2.2" of snow at the ranch and 2.5" in Bugtussle proper. Very dry snow, .04" of liquid equivalent per .1" of volume. Typically this year it's about .07" or more as we get closer to March. Hafta move some this afternoon when it's supposed to warm up to a balmy 7 above. Got several containers of varying makes of juniper berry extract with only an inch or less in them so that may mean a trip to Cashwise to see what's on sale. My quinine water supply is in good shape so malaria concerns should be lessened although I am concerned that if I don't get some limes soon, scurvy will set in.  :cheesy:
