Good Morning! We had roughly .85" of rain after supper last night. That ought to make that dang grass keep on growing. The birdies are sure singing this morning. Have a good day all.

Morning boys.  It is wet here.  Have a blonde hair over a 1/4".  60 will be the high today.  It did hit 70 yesterday but didn't feel like it.  I did get the rest of the mowing done.  Some for the first time so it was like farming.  Off to the big city today.  Do some shopping, have lunch, see two Drs. and one will dilate the eyes that we talked about.  I need to stop at L&M and get a chain saw file for the new electric saw too.  Not sure where we will eat yet.  The wife wants to take her car since she will be driving whilst my eyes are wacko.  It's not as comfortable as the truck though.  Hope to be a fun day.  You all have a fun one too.  Drive careful Gunner.

Made it home with the apple trees, no issues except I can't count and came home five trees short. We took Lenny with to see how he likes riding in the truck. Super Trooper, not one whimper or whine. Sat in the back seat the whole time. Because we had him with we didn't stop at Deer Creek for lunch. Thought there may be a chance of him chewing an armrest or dash out of the truck while we were inside. I did find out there are new owners at the bar in town Barry. Going to try to get a fishing license today and a haircut. Later....... :happy1: :happy1:

My brother left one of his coondogs in his truck too long and he got back and there was no padding left on his steering wheel.  It was just steel.  Even the big round part where your hands are.  Looked funny as heck since it wasn't my truck.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 55 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 60's. Another surprising rain. .84" at the ranch & .69" in Bugtussle. See? roony always gets more rain than we do! Not much on the agenda other than answer questions & talk smart after the rain. I should get the Stude wiped down so I can get it dirty again tomorrow. Prolly should make an attempt to sharpen some mower blades too. Lawn is growing like gangbusters. Safe travels today all!

Afternoon guys, we left town at 12:45 & were in DR by 7. Out here by 8:15. An on & off light mist the whole way until we hit DR, then it got a little more serious. We found 1.3" in our gauge & the neighbor said .85" of that has come since 3:00 yday. The lake is up at least 3", maybe 4," since we went home on 5/3. :happy1:

Morning boys. TGIF!! 50 here and heading for 66 it says. Finally get out of the 50s here maybe. SE wind off of the lake here of course which will keep it cooler. Seems like all we are getting is easy winds. I was going to change the fuel filter on my pickup yesterday. But don't have a socket big enough. Biggest I have is 32mm and need a 36mm. Guess I will need to correct that. Otherwise one more day in the salt mines and it will be a shorter one. Have a good one boys.

Well it looks like we're headed to Hubbard Co. today to cut grass and spend the night, Bemidji tomorrow to watch grandson (and team) shoot at their invite tournament and then to Leech Lake Saturday night to stay with our oldest and his family. Taking my bride and dog with so it should be interesting. I did get the yard mowed and a dozen other things done yesterday so we could bugger off this weekend and do something. Have a great day, later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin all, 51 here & we're looking at 77 for the high. Looks like we had ~.2" overnight here. Got a few things on my list too, but I'm not certain all the rain is done yet. Would like to get down to the lake to mess with the dock a little, if I can. We'll see. No more now, have a good day.

Morning boys.  It is 48 here and they say 78 for the high with some rain and mayhaps a thunderstorm.  I asked her about the dilating Mike.  Nice lady, she said if you don't want it we won't do it but them we won't be able to check everything.  So she asked are we doing the drops and we both laughed.  Yes I said go ahead.  SO here I was the weird guy again with sunglasses on in Perkins.  Had some good pot roast there of course with the fruit cup too.   :sleazy:  SO I will be getting a brand new hip on June 3rd.  So I have a couple of weeks to get things done here.  The wife will be cracking the whip.  LOL   Drive careful Glenn.  Have fun at the cabin.  You too Mark.  Well see ya all later.  TGIF!

GL Barry! I was thinking 'why not do that in the winter?' But then there is snow to deal with. There is always something any time of year. From what I hear, a hip replacement is easier than a knee. You'll be in the boat by the 4th of July.

I hope you are right Roony.  No traveling for 6 weeks after surgery.  Doesn't say anything about a short boat ride.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :happy1:  Therapy here in Baudette just called.  My first physical therapy is 3 days after surgery.  Unreal.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 56 at choretime heading for a high in the low 80's. Some lite sprinkles went thru just after chores but otherwise no precip. I see the transmitter on my slightly less than reliable indoor-outdoor thermometer must've given up the ghost. Will need to get a new thermometer setup again. A weather station would be nice but most of the folks I know who have them have trouble after a while keeping everything working unless it's a high $ model. Not sure I need to spend that kind of money on one. Got the Stude wiped down last nite for our adventure to Thompson IA this afternoon. Should vacuum & put fuel in it but otherwise it's ready to go. Safe travels glenn & markn!

Morning boys.  The dogs got me up to feed them so that means I make coffee too.  I see we have 3/4" in the rain gauge but I don't think I dumped it.  I will ask the wife.  She will know.  LOL  I saw lightning during the early morning hours.  It is puddles everywhere.  I put the new electric jack on the camper yesterday.  Went smooth.  May do some painting today.  You all have a good one.

Son and his family came in last night. I got a new cap. Cap says "GET HOOKED FOR LIFE". DUH.
      Stay safe everyone.

Mornin boys, 57 here & we're headed towards 70. We had sprinkles & a few showers on & off all day yday, along with some thunder & lightning ~ 4 this morning. But there's still only about .2" in the gauge today. Did get down to the lake & raised the dock, moved the lift as well. Got some mowing done too. Not sure where I'll start this day yet, have a great day.

I hope it is nothing serious Mike. Anything with the eyes and ticker are always concerning to me.
Morning boys. 60 here and saying 61 for a high. Guess the winds are supposed to pickup later out of the West. We got .57" of rain last night. We could see the light show starting around midnight last night. Was still raining when I went to bed at 1:30. We went over to I falls after work to make a Menards run. Needed to pick up the new dishwasher that we ordered. Our current one died about a year ago. Can't get the parts to fix it anymore. So the wife bought a new one. Guess I know one of my projects today. Lol. Accidentally stopped at the car dealership to. Lol. Almost drove home in a new GMC 3500. Just couldn't quite get the payment down far enough. Lol. I will ask around though. I I can find someone to buy my current truck and run it thru the dealership that would get me the extra to get the payment down. Interest rates sure don't help either. My current rate on this truck is 2.99. sure miss those rates. Lol. Well, time to sip some coffee and figure out the first project. Have a good one boys.

JB, our high for the day is 70.  What a difference.  Does your exact location change the stats online from what it is in Williams?

Afternoon fellow gulag comrades! 63 at choretime and it appears to have reached its high in the low 80's. Lived thru the car cruise to Thompson IA last nite with one of the octogenarians riding with me. He sometimes has temper tantrums but was on good behavior last nite. Was a warm ride down with no AC. Beer at Mr. K's was exceptionally cold, with the frost melting off the inside of the glass into the beer. Food at  The Branding Iron was very good, better than the so-so meal we had their a few years back. Had to scout fields after chores, picked up a prescription in Owatonna, then got feed in Hope. Gotta unload that yet but fed the bottle lamb & myself in the meantime. Wifey is gone to a graduation over east somewhere. Lots of things I could do before chores tonite & attending an FFA banquet tonite. My Mexican buddy and one of my car club pals should be there so hopefully it won't be a total bore.

Hope yer eye situation turns out OK mikey.
