Mornin guys, we had 27 @ 1st peek & we might see 44, they're saying. With the colder temps early today the snow I moved away from the door on the garage seemed quite a bit drier to me. So, I'll probably put my bibs on & go see if it's any easier to push around a little. I stuck a ruler in 1 spot out back & was surprised to see it read 8". But I believe that the wind switched last night & that some of that blew off the cabin, so I'm calling it closer to 7" here. Yup, take it easy on the roads, LPS. No more now, have a great day

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 at choretime, heading for a high in the mid-40's. .08" of rain in the past 24 hrs. at the ranch & in Bugtussle proper, though some might argue that gauge is actually on the edge of the northern suburb. At any rate, we didn't receive any snow. You guys up north can have it. I do have a slop hole that's developed out in front of the barn that needs attention. Will burn thru a lot of bedding if I don't take care of it. Also can get to be an animal health issue. I'd just as soon not be running around with a syringe & a bottle of antibiotic. Takes all the fun out of this sheep raising thing...

Afternoon boys.  Just got home to a mess of melted snow.  Water is running down my truck tracks like a creek.  Hope it all runs away.  165 miles each way to appt.  Man that is a lot of driving in one day.  Roads were marginal on the way down and just like summer on the way back.  It is 47 at the moment.  :happy1: I am expecting to see some open water on the river right here at home tomorrow.  I would say we got 5-6" here.  Wet stuff too.

Morning boys. TGIF!! 30 here and heading for 38 today. Radar shows some snow coming out way. I hope not. Taking the truck to work today and heading to IFalls around noon. This truck has never seen road salt. Rarely drive it in the winter. Going have the dealer do the recall on it. Just need to get the wife moving so we can get to work. Lol. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Good morning.  25 here this morning and they say heading to 40 with very little wind.  Plan for the day is to spend it in the shop buffing out some fresh paint and to re-hang motors on the back of the Tyee we are working on.  Not sure how much helping I will do with the motor hanging but just have to see.   Have a great day.

Tire done, now the steering needs attention. What a mess in the driveway and yard. I'll have to go retrieve my disc from the party that barrowed it and buy 100 pounds of grass seed to fix it. Mike, the visitation was for a friend I've known for 40 plus years and worked with for 30 of them. Ran into former co-workers yesterday I haven't seen in 5 years, when I refried, to 20 years ago when they retired. It was kinda of a family reunion more than a funeral. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin all, we had 29 early & we might see 40. Yeah, we melted a bunch on this end of the driveway as well as on the side & in back of the garage here too. I see we now have a day that's over 13 hours long here, 6:48-7:50. :happy1: Got a little late afternoon rain or snow showers in the hourly again today. Got a little project I want to look into to start this day. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Morning boys.  We have 32 here and should get to 40 today.  I still don't have open water here but expect it today.  Some dark spots on the river this morning.  When it goes it goes fast, especially with this warm weather.  I have to run to town today and pay some bills.  Will take the ol Ford since I have a deer leg that Jake dragged out of the woods and the latest 2 pine squirrels that fell out of the feeder and died.  The ol Rem Targetmaster with CB shorts really gets em.  I think the foxes must have dragged the deer leg here.  Happens every spring.  I will throw them in a ditch for the other wildlife to munch on.  A lot of snow melted overnight.  Glad to see that.  I made little water runways so lot of it ran off the driveway overnight.  Well have a great Friday.  TGIF
