You gotta admit there's a dandy joke to be had. That little blue feller is hanging out longer than we thought. Soon as he's gone though, we can really pick on the little katchup eater.  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Pork Schnitzel with creamy dill sauce tonight. This turned out GREAT!  Used two pork steaks out of our hog we just got, cut them each in-half and pounded them a bit with the meat hammer.  Also did roasted baby reds which were fantastic, as well. Rounded-out the meal with some home-frozen sweet corn right outta the in-laws' field.  Washed it down with a Summit EPA - which If you told me a couple hours before the meal I'd be drinking, I would've said your crazy.  But smell of good food on the stove seemed to help get the mouth watering for a good beer - even after last night's festivities! Recipes I used for the Schnitzel and Taters below:

Rubbed, trimmed, and sat overnite in 'fridge. Threw 'em in the oven at 225* for an hour and a half, with a glass of concentrated apple juice poured in the pan, and whole thing covered with foil. Took foil off, smothered in bbq sauce, and back in under lo broiler for 10 mns. Taken out, recovered with foil, and let rest half hour.  One rack on plate with smoky beans and buttered rolls. Disappeared in 10 minutes. Buncha pigs live here.   :rotflmao:

Looks great Reb!

Tonight, I sliced some venny steak thin and lightly browned in a pan. Boiled some noodles. Defrosted some broccoli and sauted some mushrooms with white onions. Once the noodles were done, combined it all and added some beef mushroom gravy. Seasoned with some salt & pepper with a few dashes of sriracha sauce.

Ya know, I had a craving for a salad today. I usually eat them daily in the Summer, but it's been a while. Too many goodies make me feel like crap, just sluggish. Feelin' a good chef salad for dinner with HB eggs slices and some chunks of chicken might do the trick....lotsa radish slices, cherry tomatoes, green pepper, purple onions, parmesan, croutons....
