Here is reheated meatloaf on bread and the wife made some kick azz gravy using some of that Good as Boullian stuff in a jar along with drippings.  With the corn it was one of the best meatloaf meals I ever have had.

A big plate of chicken and turkey livers, fries and a bonus heart. My father passed his love of liver down to me, unfortunately he also passed his gout to me so This is my yearly liver intake, by Thursday the gout in my thumbs and right big toe will be unbearable. But it’s worth it.
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

I've had beef liver but never poultry. Not sure I can eat liver of any sort anymore. We used to eat chicken gizzards.

Mom used to fry chicken livers rolled in flour and seasoned with cumin after we were done butchering. Like most liver, chicken livers don't stay fresh as well as the rest of the critter in the freezer. It was decent but what I really liked was the rumaki they used to make at the Lobster House west of town where I grew up. Chicken livers with water chestnuts marinated then wrapped with bacon and fried. Not terribly difficult to make the way it looks.

Chicken livers are harder to find than they used to be. We bread them lightly and sauté with green peppers and  onions. Great with pasta.

Us kids used to fight over who was going to get to eat the chicken liver.  My dad always ate the gizzard because it was too tough for us.

Do they even sell whole chickens at the grocery store now?     Its all packaged parts and pieces.

I don't think I've ever cut up a whole chicken for frying.
