We tried homemade Texacan pizza, good stuff. Refried beans mixed with taco seasoning and cheese sammiched between a hard tortilla flat shell. The air fryer did the most work while the oven kept em warm. 2 didn't make the photo shute..

Early this morning I dry brined the lake trout. I am now waiting for them to get tacky before going in the smoker. Should be just fine eating when done later today. I also will put the remaining slabs that don't fit in the smoker on grill around noon today.

***I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.***

Momma whipped up a big fat meatloaf that's smelling up the house nicely.  Paired it with squished taters , French cut green beans , biscuits and a can of twelve hour corn,  I are stuffed!!

You gotta try these. Last night my daughter was making some jalapeno poppers for our supper. She decided to make some poppers for her poor ole pa.
She made 8 habanero poppers. She cut the tops off and gutted the peppers, mixed up all the seeds and membranes with the cream cheese. Wrapped each one in bacon and put cheddar cheese on top.
Because of GI issues, my wife can't touch them. My daughter and son-in-law shared one. I was forced to eat the other 7 all by myself. They were delicious. I think they'll be regular items on our menu.
I think I'm going to try these in the old electric smoker sometime in the near future.

I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Same here we love jalapeno poppers.  Never had habanero ones.  They sound hot.
