Mornin guys, 23 to start our day. It looks like we lost a little of our snow yday. More in our forcast for tonight though with some rain, & freezing rain too. So all you traveling this weekend be careful & leave yourself some extra time on the roads. We exchanged our Kidde fire extinguishers last year as we got a recall then from the place we got them, Sam's Club. Not much else of interest happening here. Have a good day, all. Stay safe out in the woods too :bambi:

Well, I did my good deed(s) for today. There was an ad from a dentist in town to drop off all extra Halloween candy and they ship it to the troops over in sand land. Had cards to sign for the troops, too. So, I drove over there and dropped my four bags off and wrote 'em a nice note. Sorry, Salvation Army. These guys are puttin' their lives on the line every day. Then I helped a lady get some stuff off the tall shelves in Wallace Mart. Talk about rude...the place was full of lowing aisle bovines that wouldn't move today. It's true what they say about cowz, though...when one faces north, they all face north.   :rotflmao:

Good for you Rebs.  Feels good to help someone,.  AND yes Wally World is the best example of the lack of situational awareness.  We mention it every time we go there.  Which brings up the term I learned on here "crop dusting".   :rotflmao:
I love to do it in crowds at Walmart.  The wife just shakes here head and I laugh like heck...  Especially in the grocery part.  I also wonder how many people really need the electric carts to ride on.  OR are they just lazy?  If they really need them you absolutely should use them.  But I do wonder......  Well I work again today.  Sure seems like I work a lot of Saturdays or is time just flying by that fast?  We each work about 1 a month.  So I will not be in the nice warm hunting shack till tomorrow.  Sighted in the .243 yesterday and was right on.  Used 2 old 20 lb propane tanks.  They were empty.  Man at 100 yards it made a hole as smooth as if I had used a drill bit.  Then it expanded and made a big exit hole.  Could hear the nice "ding" as it hit the tank.

Have a good day all of you and good luck.  Looking forward to the pics.

Mornin boys, 28 & not nearly that much snow. We're under a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 pm tonight though, they're talkin about another 3-5" of snow, with sleet & freezing rain possible for us. That doesn't sound very good for all the :bambi: hunters out trying to get around. Be careful if you have to be on the roads & stay safe everybody. Nothing on my list today, probably catch some college football. May start gathering a few things together as we are traveling back south again Monday. Have a good one.

Morning all. Gray, foggy, 42*  heat wave.  We got our deer! My cuz and his son take me along on a "virtual deerhunt" thru their iPhones, since I can no longer hunt or go with them. He's got 3 different stands/blinds on his acreage. At first light yday morning, walking right into view...  :fudd:

Good luck, guys! Go get 'em!   :happy1:

Mornin guys, 28 & windy for us. We had a bit more snow than I 1st thought when we went out the garage yday so we decided to move some of it, thinking we'd be gettin more. Nope, it started as a light mist ~ noon, turned into more of a steady rain around 4, with that changin over to snow after 5. All in all it looks like we lost some of snow cover yday too. Glad I wasn't out on the roads last night though as I'm sure it got slick. Getting a few things loaded in the car today for the drive back south tomorrow, otherwise not much going on. Probably some football but with no Vikings I'll have to see if there is any good games on. Have a good 1, everyone.

I have the whole week off.  Practice for retirement.  lol  It has been a long time since I took a whole week off.  Will be making lots of Ice Rigs and Rod Holders and doing some sitting in my fish house/deer shack.  I think I will have another cup of coffee now since I am in no hurry....     :sleazy:

Mornin guys, now back south of the border & we've got 30 headed for around 40. We left the lake ~ quarter after 7 & got back here at 3:30 after 5 pit stops along the way. The snow started disappearing as we got close to Moose Lake & was almost all gone by Hinckley. We've still got leaves on our maple trees but the majority of them were on the ground & that was our 1st project as we were made aware, by a neighbor that works for the city, that today is the beginning of last round of leaf pick up they do. So we pulled out the big tarps & dragged the majority of ours to the curb. Got some errands to run otherwise not a lot goin on. Have a good day everybody.
