My guess would be the heater core LPS.  My wife's 94 jeep had the same issue.  Take off the two hoses going into the heater core and hook a garden hose up to one and flush it out.  Just remember that is going to add water to the system so you might need to add back in some antifreeze.  I sometimes have to do it a couple times a winter for her.

My advice is worth what you pay for it, but are you sure the sender for the temp gauge is good?

Noro explosion?? Ewwwww...that sounds like the shi...er, bad deal! I don't eat out anyway; my cooking is far superior.   ;D Living off whats in my freezer; that's why I fill it to the top with summer/fall meat specials. And my soups/chili.  I haven't bought meat since this Fall, with the exception of some more bacon that went on sale. 5 pks of that left in freezer.
On that heat thing, LPS, other things to check: water pump...radiator cap pressure loss (common problem, buy new one)...sending unit. Any leaks anywhere? Could also be a head gasket, let's hope not..does it cool properly? If it does, and just lousy heat, possible plugged heater core looking or a backflush.  Heat control valve. Start with those things. Good luck!

Morning guys, we got to the lake about 10 yesterday am. It was almost 2 by the time we moved enough snow to get in the garage & unloaded the car. :snow2: We had -24 here to start & Bemidji was saying -28. More snow moving to do today but not until it warms up a little. Hope you have a good 1

Keep that noro explosion over there reb! Luckily we're at a higher elevation here as feces does run downhill.  :happy1: -9 during chores and no breeze so not the worst morning. Pickup sleeps outside & made some noises after starting in protest. Warm up coming for the weekend.

I was thinking about the cap too.  I will pick one up tonight.  The heater seems to work good.  Even with the gauge on N of Normal which is low.  I do see the needle go up and down as the thermostat opens up.  I just put a new 195 thermostat in it a couple of weeks ago.

Make sure ya top it off and there's no burbling in there. Clean and lightly lube rad lip rim or cap gasket with some silicone (don't say it Glenn) then turn that new pup down tight. That will be $32.75, plus tax. I'll bill ya.  :happy1:

If there's Noro down here, Dotch, I don't know about it. Maybe Delmonaco didn't souse up those deer long enough.  :rotflmao:

That's a fact!!!  If you ever need any good advice, we'll give it to you!!!  :happy1: :happy1:

Hopefully it was just that ham salad, and not flu or that other thing you were saying is going around your area.

Sorry I missed the part about the heater working well.  My wife's jeep was blowing Luke warm to cold air.  No need to flush the heater core.

Morning guys. Getting closer to having everything blown out but a little left for today. It looks like if I want to get a little fishing in early this trip that it should be in the next 2-3 days as there's more snow in the forcast for early in the week. - 7 to start & a little warmer for today. Enjoy the weekend! Not real sure on the schedule but I think it's the Raiders & the Seahawks I'm pulling for today

Morning all. Only -8 here this morning. Having a good time with the grandkids. Did a little fishing yesterday. Nothing to right home about. Think I will move the house today. Kids get to open presents this morning. Time for some coffee while breakfast is in the oven. Have a good day!

Morning guys. A balmy and sunny 0* here. Well, I made it thru last nite with the ...what was that word of the day? Oh ya, Collywobbles, guess it wasn't Noro, but the tummy sure hurts and I feel like Glenn. Heck of a headache too. Wunnerful. Just in time so I can go out and shovel that incoming snow..... :banghead: Have a good one... :happy1:

Been working on Ice Rigs all day.  Do not have the heat on in the fish house so I get some work done instead of fishing this weekend.  Next weekend I will fish hard...   If you have to blow your nose I would do it gently Rebs......   Texans and Raiders just started.  Wish they would have started these games earlier.  The second game won't be done till late....

We had -13 to start. Warmer yet today, they're sayin. Wind picked up & kept it  kind of chilly here yesterday. Done playing in the :snow2: for a day or 2. Hope to make it down to the lake to check that out before football starts today. Probably won't be any fishing until tomorrow maybe Tuesday. Enjoy the day everybody

-9 here and a gray day.  Having coffee getting the day going.  Had a few last night while watching football.  I picked Detroit as an upset in our football pool and that was a bad idea.  lol  Well I did take the Texans and that panned out for me.  Today I took Pitts and GB.  Good day for football.  Thought about doing some roof raking today, we'll see about that.  I shouldn't have mentioned it to my fabulous wife cuz now she may hold me to it..   lol  She is my inspiration and my best friend.  She keeps me grounded I guess...      As a matter of fact I will make her a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs.... Have a great day all.
