Afternoon! Well it WAS nice this morning. About 29 at chore time. Met my copy deadline and jumped in the shower to get ready for a funeral in Albert Lea. Roads were a little messy but certainly not the worst I've ever driven on. Got done with the funeral, was 13 above and it was even sorta nasty in town. Got out in the open spaces and there were several areas where it was near whiteout conditions coming home. Roads were slick too so not a good combination. Wind is still howling. Decided it wasn't worth heading back into the office for a few hours so am staying put. Plenty of tincture and a warm place to poop.  :happy1:

I hear ya dotch, about 4 this morning started to rain then changed to sleet.  After the snow was done the wind howled all afternoon, and when I finally left work my truck was covered with ice. Well after clearing everything here it was lazy man / fare weather griller tonight. Homemade Abt brats and fries... thanks rh for the recipe

They look mighty tasty boober! Another buck lamb born sometime today. Ruby and I got the ewe and lamb moved after we got the snow cleaned up. Mrs. Cheviot  made it home just as I was finishing chores. She gave our handiwork her approval. Having a tincture to celebrate and warm up.  :happy1:

-2, -14 WC to start the day. Went in to GR yesterday about 9. Roads were not good as it was 50 mph or < on the way in & couldn't see much more than a 1/4 mile. Had close to 3" by the time we came back out to the lake at 1:30-2. The wind picked up about 10 so the drive back was even slower. Another 3 days in the deep freeze, they say, so stay warm & drive safe if you need to travel. Hope you have a good 1

About -9 here and wind warnings for the day.  On the way home last night I took the State Hwy and it was glare ice.  I drove about 45 - 50 and cars were pushing me down the highway.  Oh well.  Bobber I see you have one of those inside grills too.  They work pretty darn good I think.  Have used mine for years as I have mentioned before.  We cooked a pork roast in the oven last night and I told the wife I was going to light up the smoke tube and put it in the oven.  I did it with a straight face and watched her reaction.....  lolol   She waited a few seconds thinking about it and said "the hell you are".  lololo   We both laughed our asses off.  She is great!

To try to help out, I tried to look up what might trigger "limp home" mode.   Sounds like it could be any number of things.  Sorry I couldn't help.   Your description makes me think tranny, but that is just a wild guess.

That's easy with a chebby. ;) First, check batt connections and ground...plug wires....chebby had an issue with the dash pods that had shorts/bad connections in them, causing this on a lot of Chebbies and ponchos. Also, overheating engine, head gasket....or misfiring plug/cylinder. Take it somewhere and see what trouble code it's throwing, that will tell you, as in "misfire cyl #3", etc. Lots of auto parts places do it for free. Plug in module and it reads the code. Easy peasey. Don't waste yer time guessing. Far too may things will kick a RP mode.  :happy1:

That's what I'd be goin' with!  :rotflmao:

Ah, still mornin' yet. Got down to about 6 overnight then warmed back up to 8. Phone says it's up to 10 now. Lambs are doing good so far. As long as the ewes are milking sufficiently they should be fine. Still one ewe that's close to lambing. Hope she decides to hang on until the weekend. A little warmer would be nice. With the colder temps my tincture supply has taken a hit so I need to restock.  :whistling:

Yupper!!!  I agree! That "breather" is part of a sealed EPA system....that's why it came on. Another thing that will actually do it too, is a "low air" warning....Last week, some weird chiming starts in my dash...WTH is THAT??!! Then a light with a flashing  icon that looked like a bite out of a cookie comes on.....then it goes "solid" yellow, and dash LCD center says "Low tire pressure"...??!?!??!  RF tire valve had ice all over it, tire was 8 lbs low....and I check tires weekly. Cleaned and lubed valve, aired back up. A-Ok. THAT was helpful, however... ;)
