Good for you JB.  That rain missed me.  Man that is a fast plane Glenn.  Went out last night for a short time and just trolled a crankbait.  No fish but sure felt good.  Not so darn hot and starting to feel like fishing weather.  Some people on a pontoon caught a big smally.  The dogs enjoyed the boat ride.

Man that's a long time without eating.  I don't think I had to go that long.  That was 2 years ago.  Can't remember.  I had a big NY Strip last night.  Med rare and man was it juicy.  lol

MAYO has ya do two days, and the day of...$#@!  Yday sucked, as no whole grains, nuts, fruits, veggies, juices or drink that are red.......WTH was I supposed to eat for supper?! I eats lots of all of that stuff every day!  I still ate a pile of mashed taters and chicky. Now only liquids all day today... IMO, this is going overboard, no one else does it that restrictive, I've been told.  OK, I'm done whining.

Poor thang,  what a hardship.

Used to require an enema, and some purgative pills.
Although asking the NL for ASSistance would have been OK  :sleazy:

Do you mean assistance with the enema Del?  That would be a hoot.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  I bet she would never mow the lawn again if he asked for help with that.   :rotflmao:  OR who knows????

Maybe that's what he needs her help with before the enema, some mowing/manscaping of the back yard  :laughroll: :laughroll: :laughroll:

Rainy morning for most of us I guess.  But we need it here anyway.  Yesterday I was in Duluth with my wife and grandson for the day.  Wanted to get him into some decent fish.  Fished off shore on Island Lake.  used to do this when I was a kid and always brought home walleye's.  But back then there were hardly any smallmouth and now it has became a great smallmouth lake.  Wasn't really expecting any walleyes there this time of the year but who knows.  Did get a lot of smallmouth with the biggest being 4 pounds and I'm glad my grandson got it.  Great day indeed.  good luck.

Looks like a great time to me, RH. Nice looking young man there.  Good fishin' there, too. I always love a good bass fight. From shore, yet!  :happy1:

The rest of you clowns can scratch the Kaepernoscopy; had to cancel it. Had a blood sugar crash at 3:00 PM, and it just kept going down. ( I haveta eat or snack every 4 hrs, I told 'em that) No way I coulda made it to 6:00 PM, then start drinking that stuff to clean ya out. That woulda really brought me into coma range. I took half my insulin just like they said, I knew I'd still crash, I know how my body works. Told 'em that...why don't these doctors listen to the patient? Called 'em and was on hold FORTY MINUTES while they yapped back and forth and then said "ya, that's not going to work..."    Now I'm stuck with the prep stuff that cost me $30, dammit. They won't take it back. Plus my buddy took tomorrow off to take me to MAYO...God d****t I'm pi**ed off!!!!     :angry2: :angry2: :angry2:

Anyone want some lime jello and apple juice??!??!

Yeah, can't quite figure out why the clean out stuff is so expensive, and doesn't seem to be covered well by Part D,  don't know about other insurance.

Gives you a good excuse to do the DNA test.   Find out about your colon and your ancestry all at the same time...

Good evening all! Looks like everyone is alive and doing well, great pics Rh!! :happy1: fun for sure. That's to bad reb, getting shafted on not getting shafted up the keester bites.. The  wife and i along with the pooch got to the cabin bout 5, 58 and a howling wind out of da north was brutal here. So after the pizza was done she wanted to be warmed up, so I did the best I could and stoked the pot belly stove and headed down to the dock for some  :fish2:. Not much doing with this front.  Later!

What a bummer after all of the mental prep Rebs.  When I have mine I have to stop eating at noon the day before and drink the fluid in the afternoon till I go to bed.  So I miss supper and breakfast.  I can handle that.  The Dr. always tells me how nice and cleaned out I am so don't why your fast was so long. Fun to start the wood burner at the cabin Bobber.  Your pics are great RH.  Good times.  The boy will always remember that time too.  Man it is 54 here.  Feels like early fall to me.  Going golfing in the A M again tomorrow.  Then trim trees in the afternoon.  Maybe a trip to Bemidji.  TGIF.

Morning all. Looks like fun RH. Ya, it feels nice and crisp this morning. We a little shot of rain again last night. Around a tenth I think. We are going to get the grandkids tomorrow and have them for the week. We are going to camp at Federal dam for 3 nights then head back home. It will be nice to fish Leech again, have not fished it since 2006. That is the year we made the move to up here. I am looking forward to a week off. hopefully it is relaxing. Fishing , beer and campfire. Sounds good to me! :happy1: Have a good one all!

'Morning all. 55*, breezy and sunny. All the hume blew away. Sure is nice, I won't miss it. No plans for today, other than my buddy and I are going to an all you- can -eat fish fry at a great local pub/ eatery late this afternoon. Haveta get in the door by 4:30 or you'll be in a waiting line. The owner's been a friend for about 25 yrs, he makes some of the best food around. Always a line at the door on Fridays. You can have the fish beer-battered or broiled. I always have both, and a big plate of onion rings. His batter is just perfect. Ya get a choice of soup, salad, or cole slaw, and a bread basket, for $10.99. Can't beat that. Big treat for me to eat out, and I make the most of it.   Barry, I'm still ticked off about the test thing, especially the throwing away the $30 for nothing. I really can't afford to be doing that. MAYO's attitude pi$$es me off too..."Well, it works fine for most people"...no apologies from them. Doing some reading on-line about diabetics and that two day no food thing, it does NOT work fine for most of them. In fact, lots of the same issues I had, some medical places do not even recommend doing that with diabetics.  MAYO knows everything, though. Oh well, life in the big city.
Have a good Friday, all.
