After morning people,  been outside looking in for a bit at this place. Thanks to a couple members I'm back. Turned out I went on a site on my phone (which I thought wasn't dirty) but ended up getting virus updates. So I dumped this and that which ended losing this and that so long story short don't do what I did,  even though it was probably a scam.
  Been a great weekend for hanging outside burning sticks, logs then grilling over the hot coals lately,  I'll take it!!

We still have open water on our side of the lake. Think I am going to do a little muzzy hunting to see if I can russle up a deer. Have a good one boys.

Mornin gents, 34 here currently, headin for the mid 50's again today. Supposed to be pretty windy this afternoon otherwise another great day, weather wise. It was so nice here yday that a lot people were out raking leaves as they are finally just about all down. That & the city is making their last tour around town to pick them up. I checked the 10 day for us on Saturday & it said low to mid 40's at least through early next week. More holiday shopping & maybe even start wrapping a couple presents otherwise nothing too pressing on my list. Have a good day everybody.

Morning all.  Oatmeal today.     UPS dropped off my new tarp for the "garage in the box".  I used to think I would like to be a UPS guy but here they don't start till noon when stuff arrives from Bemidji.  We have had them here as late as 9 PM.  Cold dark and windy in the winter at that time.  They do a great job but not a job for me.

Morning all. Oatmeal for me also. We have had the UPS lady show up as late as 11 one night. It was a Friday night and the wife and I had went to dinner and then a movie in Baudette. We were out filling the wood stove when she showed up. She had a bolt puncture one of the tires on the truck so she was having a long day. Luckily it was a Friday. Yah, that not starting until noon is a big no go for me. 35 here to start the day and windy. Not much else happening. Have a good one boys!

Morning boys. 19 to start the day here, heading for the mid 30s. Well the howling west wind yesterday pushed the ice to the east. Had about a mile of open water out front yesterday. Now it sounds like today the wind is supposed to be  screaming out of the south. That should bust the ice up some more. I wish the wind would just blow it all off the lake and start over. It is looking kind of messy out there. Not much new happening here. We are at the top of the hill, now we can slide into the weekend. Have a good one boys.

Thanks for the lake update JB.  I wondered what this never ending wind was doing.  I was at the Cenex feed store a week or so ago.  The building completely blocked the wind.  I went in and two ladies were there and I said it is so nice with no wind out.  They looked at me and nodded their heads.  It was beautiful out.  Well when I pulled into the gas pumps and got out of my truck the wind almost blew my hat off.  I bet they are thinking what's with that guy.   lolol
