The ribs have slowly gotten better, thanks for the concern.... I've been going to work since Tuesday..... but it has been rough.
My boss keeps telling me that I should be at home instead of here.... but I have A.D.D.  ....and can't sit still....

Anywho..... I'm good.....(just in pain) don't worry about me.......

I will add he did get an exray and they said they could wrap his chest, no way!!  slow and easy is what he is doing..  oh and went to work too HD!!!  we do what we have to do....   don't laugh to hard!!!

Don't overdo it HD.  -22 here.  Was going to fire up the plow truck and put new shocks on it after work.  I think that can wait for a warmer day.  I will take the ol Ford that sits in the 70 degree garage instead.  I already feel good about that management decision.

Mornin boys, -17 here too. Needed a bday card yday as we've got a niece with 1 comin up so we used that as an excuse to hit happy hour for a couple. Wouldn't mind gettin out  this weekend but it doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate. Been resisting dragging out the Eskimo shelter, so far, hoping it'll warm up & not be blowin too hard 1 of these days. Got a couple indoor projects to mess with a little today otherwise not a lot new. Have a good un.

As usual at 2:30 am I'm sitting there watching TV wit one eye closed. Borgie gets up out a bed to go tinkle for da 3rd time. Suddenly she blurts out ''0' N0! from da udder room. Now myself being a veteran of "da Queens' " dramma I calmly state now what?  "0" N0! she yells out. Ok..OK, so what's wrong dis time I say. The cat puked in your shoes she yells! Now I gotsta get up and see dis.
Sure enough boat shoes hit dead center. He could't aim fur da outside and made a direct center hit to da insides.


   I can't wait ta see how da rest a da day unfolds.

mornin all, dang it's nice not having any cats around!!!   was watching a pickup stuck out on the lake this morning, started about 45 minutes ago and they gave up about 15 minutes ago, right at the shore they are..  sun rise will be here before long and then I can see if I can help or not..  there are no "roads" on this small lake....  have a good day all!!!

Mornin guys, got 3* here. Was down at our shore yday & was surprised to find knee deep hard crusty snow at the edge of the ice. Actually took the scoop shovel down & made a path through it. Took the sled for a little ride after having to jump it & it's not as bad out in the middle of the bay. Did the 1st draft of my taxs on Thursday & received another 1099 yday so I'l double check that info. I e-file mine & have for years, it's easy(1040/1040A) & best of all it's free. Won't send in to IRS until I have all my w-2's, 1099's to double check my info. They're talkin snow, the radar looked like we may have gotten some overnight, but we're not supposed to get more than about 1". Nothin else going on, have good day

Morning fellers, boy for the stuff todo, wanted go fishing for the distraction, but tons of stuff todo. I have to replace the main fuel line in my castle, man was a pia, to get out, have to change oil in my wheeler, go thru files and pictures at moms, we sent a outfit over to the funeral home, she'll look nice, been talking to my bro about things, like things our family wants as a momento, then every thing will be on a estate sale, if you know anyone moving up her we will have a very cute small 3 beenroom home, that sits high on a river bank on a dead end street, offset garage, that my mom put her love into over the years. just saying. lots of tings to do, I'm doing suprissingly well, again thanks for all the well whishes, got get going on the day.

Afternoon fellas. Been super crazy round here lately,  stuck at work for 60 hrs a week and was offered more today, but I declined. The whipper snapper sprung it on us the other day she was moving out today into a house with friends. I'm happy for her but sad at the same time. Remi doesn't know what to do as of now with her empty room and her 10 week old retriever gone. But then again I'm breeding remi soon so maybe a little trouble maker will be back in his future.... think I'll call him junior!!

if any of ya watch the news today, don't be surprised if they show a huge chain reaction mess on 94. i drove by that today, had to be 30 cars smashed to some degree. east bound traffic was completely shut down.  started about 3-4 miles east of rogers and traffic stopped dead all the way back to the st micheal exit.

roads in the cities, namely 694 sucked. once i got past Monticello the got better.
