Morning boys. 35 here and just started raining. Heading for a high of 43 today. The snow is really going fast around here. The ditches are really full of water and running fast now. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Going to drop off a couple bags of food plot seed today and then it's off to Menardos for a mini fridge for the garage. Haven't seen one on Craigslist for over two months that wasn't 80 miles away from here. I'm sure there will three or four in there tomorrow after i buy one within 10 miles of me. Oh well, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin all, 53 presently & I'm hearin 83 will be our high. Think they missed it a little yday though  as we had 87 on the car when we rolled into town ~ 2:30 & heard someone say they seen 90 on their car at HH. Gonna be another glenn-like day here ;) with all the extra hot wind & very low humidity, so most all of NE Ia is still under the Red Flag Warning. 'Bout it here, have a good 1.

Morning boys.  Cloudy here but no rain yet and I would like to see some to clean things up a bit.  It is really interesting how much different our temps and other weather patterns can vary from JB's area to ours.  I would guess we are what JB, 25 miles apart?  He is right on the lake which makes a big difference too.  It is dark here like it could rain but from the TV weather it doesn't look like much will happen till tomorrow.  Maybe a shot later this afternoon.  We had 63 here yesterday and it was sunny and beautiful so we sat on the deck for awhile.  Not a lot going on today.  May run in to get some fresh bakery bread as Thursday is the day for it.  Other than that will just try to stay out of trouble.  Should be easy.   :sleazy:

Good morning all.  41 here and breezy but no rain.  They are claiming we could see some tonight.  As mentioned it would be nice to see a good rain to clean things up a bit.   Not really sure which project I am going to work on first today.  The list is long.....or do I just build some trout candy for future trips?

Mornin' comrades! 58 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-80's. Yesterday topped out at 88 at the ranch, in Albert's Leaf and Waseca, with Owatonna hitting 90. Thought it was warm when I was putting the electric fence back up. Also picked the last of the pussy willows last night. The heat blew them over the dam in a hurry. Was hoping to see the lambs run but by the time I got back up to the house the sun was setting. Be some corn going in the ground this afternoon. Guys with new planters and fields that are a little quicker to dry out than others. Most are smart enough to limit their planting to those acres as it's plenty early. Always hear about some clown trying to impress everyone by planting a lot of acres early, then having to replant a lot of those acres even though "they did everything right". Ya right. If you did, you wouldn't be replanting.  :coffee:

It finally just started raining here.  The farmers may not need it so if it stays on my yard that is ok too.   :happy1:

I will be getting my hairs cut this weekend.  She zings it and I like it.  Now.  I would have hated it years ago.  So nice to not have to comb my hair or worry about it blowing in the wind like Fabio.

Ya it's funny how we change over the years,  early days the wife would kick and scratch to get me a haircut.  Now I can't wait to get it zinged off.

Back in high school when it was so important to have as long of hair as our parents allowed, one of my buddies had his brother tell the barber to "zing" his hair off.  My buddy Dale was so pissed that he missed school for a couple of days and then wore a stocking hat even though it was summer.   Was a life altering experience back in those day.  LOL

Convinced a junior high friend that we could find a better use for the money his mom gave him for a haircut. His mom took one look at the haircut I gave him and shrieked “What happened to you?  Go right back to that barber and tell him to fix it.”  Luckily, we hadn’t fed the pinball machines with the money his mom gave him. The barbers had a pretty good laugh.

I started zinging my hair short 20 plus years ago and never looked back. Like LPS said it is so nice to not have to worry about combing or drying it. Nice and low maintenance.

Morning boys. 35 here heading for 42 with some rain in the forecast this morning. Going to be a short day in the salt mines today. Probably leave around 9 or 10. Have lots of extra hours from training on the new router. So rain or shine I plan to fish for the last day of the walleye season this afternoon. Then I can test out them new jigs from HD. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  37 now and headed to about 54 so will be a nice day.  Beautiful morning.  Rain moving in around noon.  I have to shovel snow out of the kennels sometime and take the tracks off the Grizzly.  What I don't do today I will finish over the weekend.  Man the snow has dwindled here.  Just about time to drag the yard but may be too wet yet today.  I see the lilies are popping up around the house. Well you all have a good Friday.

Well its that time of the year again. It finally hit 50 degrees which means its time for the removal of the Winter facial hair. Or beard. This will not only make my bride very happy but will also reveal a good-looking guy again that went MIA last Sept. when I quit shaving. The driveway is dried out nicely so I should sweep out the 100 pounds of dirt from the garage today and maybe toss some junk out from this Winter. About it, later.... :happy1: :happy1:
