Yup exactly.  My wife was with me too. How is your eye?  Did they get all of the fiberglass out of it.  That is some bad stuff.

Yes I did see you then.   My eye is good and glad to hear yours went well.   Just did another check on it and updated my prescription.

Mornin' comrades! 39 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-40's. .05" of rain the past 24 hrs. at the ranch & .13" in Bugtussle proper. Started to rain in earnest right after the gauge was read in both places so betting we got somewhere between a quarter to half an inch this morning. Almost brought Poppy in to the office today. She was kinda wet after chores so opted to wait until tomorrow. Guarantee we will get nothing done if I bring her in here. Luckily there hasn't been a lot to do in the first place with it raining & cold much of the week. Got the last crater from my snow removal escapades this winter filled in & replaced the sod. A couple minor spots left but getting the majority of it cleaned up ahead of the rain was ideal. Glad to hear your surgery went well Barry!  :happy1: Must've missed your bout with the fiberglass in the eye Scenic. Bad enough getting splinters of that stuff in my forearms from some electric fenceposts the other day. Can't imagine getting it in an eye. Good to hear your eye is OK too.  :happy1:

LPS, that is great that you didn't have to make the trip back down. And yes my right eye is more for distance which is my dominant eye and my left eye is for up close. I still have to wear glasses, but for another up close I take them off. Nice thing is I can tie fishing line without readers.

Afternoon fellers. Waiting for Sue to get done with her infusion. Should be done in about 45 minutes.

She decided to hit LaCasita for our anniversary meal. They got good food and Sue's favorite. Quick stop at FF. Meeting up with another granddaughter, she is going to borrow my compound bow to target practice tonight.

Appears about 2" of snow showed up here last night. Going have to melt, plow is put away. A quick look at Craigslist and then I better start counting bingo tickets so it's done before noon. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  Yup spring is right around the corner.  Just not sure where that corner is.  It is 28 here and we have at least 4" of snow so far.  The wife says no problem the Impala can go through that.  lol  I hope so cuz I don't want to plow up gravel on the driveway.  Man the birds are busy at the feeder now.  Good thing I just filled them.  Waiting for warm weather now.

Good morning All.   Light snow fell most of the night but did not amount to a lot.  About 3" after it settled down some.   Hopefully it will end today.  I am not plowing this stuff as all I would do it tear stuff up anyway.   Boat trailer work in the plans today.  We found tires and rims online for about the same price as tires mounted.   We needed another set of rims anyway.

Mornin' comrades! 33 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 30's. .22" of rain at the ranch the past 24 hrs. & .42" in Bugtussle. Some flurries this a.m. off and on. Supposed to become more frequent & heavier this afternoon. Not a lot going on today otherwise. Still picking at the crap on my desk. Lots of papers to sort thru after all the upheaval the past couple years. Happens when you're on the run a lot of the time. Ready for more stability in that dept. Other than a feed run & maybe a trip to FF, Saturday looks like an indoor day. Sunday looks cool but might work for some outdoor cleanup activity. We'll see. Studebaker might have to make it out for a fuel run & mebbe a sammich while we're at it.

We have around 6" here.  Just grained the horses and shoveled the steps and in front of the door.  This is some wet sticky stuff.  The kind that sticks to the shovel.  Not much fun.  It is going to be fun just watching it melt this weekend though.  HH may come a little earlier today.

Was out splitting a little wood. It alternates between sun, snow, and sleet. It is comforting knowing Spring is right around the corner. Back to mining salt tomorrow.
