Yup, been thinking about that Barry stool softeners.  :rotflmao: So far the last 2 days I need just they opposite. But with the Oxycodone I'm sure I will be needing the softeners soon.

You will be in a lot of discomfort if you wait till you need them.  Get ahead of the problem.  Those pain pills will block you up like there's no tomorrow.

Ya. I will probably start taking the stuff this evening or tomorrow morning. Right now I have the diarrhea. So don't want to rush it. Looked at the weather station too. Looks like about 1.3" of rain here from the storm.

That's because we care about each other.  Do you have crutches that you can get around on JB?  Drinking a lot of water is very important too.

Well I just got done mowing.  Have the water turned on to the camper and the slide out and all of the windows and vents open.  Have our garden hose drain system hooked up and over the hill.  Now I have to get our cooking/cocktail table set up.  My blue tooth speaker is charged up and charging the phone now.  Not too windy by the campfire so will have that going before the wife gets off work. It's about 80 but with a little breeze will still be nice to have a fire.  That will be our main home for the weekend.

Sounds like fun. I'll be working 11 hours on Sat. Sun. and Monday. Might very well be my last year. I'm 68 and the body is starting to talk back at me.

Yes sir. Came out of ER with crutches so I can hobble around. Crazy that it is 80 at your place. We are only in the 60s here with the breeze off of the lake. Enjoy the camper. Sounds like a great time. Going to so e time before we can use ours now. :pouty:

Mornin gang, 59 now & headed for 74, they're sayin. They sure missed it again yday as it was 85 & humid by 2:30. Had a quick shower ~ 4:30 & it was back to 70 pretty quick. The boat hit the water around 1:30 so I wasn't really surprised it rained as our lift is still on shore. Going to make a bait run & then go out for a bit this AM. No more now, have a good day.

Morning boys.  Man did I just screw up.  The wife does our laundry so I don't mess it up.  I just mentioned how some days when Gunner checks in he has already done laundry and it is on the clothes line at 7 or so.  You should have seen the look she just gave me.  LOL  We had a great night.  Was enough breeze that the fire felt good even with it being so hot.  It cooled off nice.  Will repeat tonight. Will find something to do here today.  May fish some and have been thinking of painting one side of the house where the paint is faded some.  If I think one side it is not as overwhelming as painting the whole house.  I still see lumber floating downriver.  The river has gone down some which is great.  Need more coffee.  Hope things are settling down for you JB.  LOL

Mornin' comrades! 54 at choretime heading for a high in the low 70's. Another .25" of rain in the past 24 hrs. here at the ranch altho it just got done dumping another .43" that will be included in the next 24 hr. tally. Tomorrow's measurement makes measurable precip for 8 out of the last 9 days. Lots of mud and ponded water. Can you say mosquitoes & blackflies boys and girls? I knew you could. The Mrs. is working so Poppy & I have the place to ourselves. Nursing a nasty spring cold but I need to get to FF for a few things as well as something for the wife from the dog. Then it may be time for an afternoon glenn nap altho he'll probably be snuggled up with one of those Inger cougars, the toothless variety. 😉

Mornin peoples 60 here with sideways rain. With the wind howling we waited til we could see before we left the dock. Caught lots of little males with only keeping 2, no sheepshead Glenn, kinda surprised.  Anywho I'm thinking a nap soon,  that wind beat us up....See ya!!

Morning boys. 56 here today. Only made 59 with the breeze off of the lake. And looks like the same for today. The nerve blocker wore off last night so the pain level has gone up. Ice has become my best friend now. Now we can't find my wallet. Not sure what happened to that coming home from the hospital. Off to a grand start today. Have a good one boys.

No luck. Hopefully still at the hospital. Same day surgery not open until Monday morning. So won't know for sure until then. Put a hold on the credit cards that were in it.

Morning boys.  Was 78 yesterday and will be about the same today.  Had a beautiful night by the camper.  Cooked some chicken thighs over a fire.  Man were they good.  The wife had partially cooked them in the house first.  Watched part of the Twins and then had to get by the fire so just heard they won later.  Good for them.  When we were kids we had those metal stringers and thought they were cool as heck.  BUT then we lost some fish off it too and switched to the wire baskets.  Well they aren't the ideal thing neither.  Especially when you forget to pull them in when cruising.  So back to the rope stringers.  Live and learn.  We had turtles or something steal our fish from the baskets too when tied to the dock.  Will take the wife out for a boat ride/fishing today for awhile.  May cook a steak for Mother's Day.  We shall see.  They aren't as high on the food chain list for her as they are for me.  Well time for more coffee.  Hope he is doing well too.  LOL

not sure what i'll cook the wifey for mothers day.......steak sounds good!!!!!!!! :happy1:

i had 1 of those metal stringers.....yep never again......always a rope stringer for me, but with the livewell dont use them much either.  same with the fishbasket......we've lost fish because the bottom end opened up so we wired them shut!!!! :happy1: we also have had critters eat fish tied to the dock, we think otters or something like that. most of the time they are on the dock for a very short period.......i like to clean them ASAP!!!!!! :happy1:

Morning boys. Mid 50s here with a nice ripple on the lake. Don't think we have gotten out of the 50s with the breeze coming off of the lake. At least it is not howling off of the lake. Just be another try and heal day for us. The pain is pretty high right now in my knee. Have a good one boys.

Mornin' comrades! 49 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 50's. 1.5" of rain the past 24 hours at the ranch. Nothing compared to my buddy at New Ulm at 5.6" & 12" at Springfield. Still wet here no matter how you slice it withe measurable precip 9 of the past 10 days. Found a red leaf coral bell yesterday at FF so will probably retrieve that sometime today. It'll match the astilbe on the east side of the house. Got the Mrs. a new watering wand, some chocolate & a box of Buster Bars so I was probably good but one can never score enough points to satisfy them. Doesn't help that Poppy can do no wrong...
