Good morning All.  This wind is crazy and COLD...brrrrrr.   But at least that sun is out with is a strange sight these days.  It has been a while.

Good luck to the Mrs Glenn.

Afternoon comrades! Low was around 0, 5 at choretime,  heading for a high in the low 30's. Just got back from a funeral over at Cannon Falls. One of the U's retired extension soil science specialists passed away so it was like old home week. Saw lots of folks I hadn't seen for many moons. Windy out so lotsa snow sticking on the roads. Will have to see if I can sneak in a nap before chores. Good luck glenn... :happy1:

Good morning All.   As they forecast the wind has not died down.  It howled off the lake all night.  The lake here has been popping and banging all night.  It's driving the dog about nuts.    I was thinking about fishing this afternoon but not in this wind.  I live up here and can go in much better conditions.    Have a great day All!!!

Mornin boys, 22 for our start & we should see 40 before the day is over. Still got a NW wind 10-15 though, so it won't feel that nice. Must've had gusts to 35 or so  yday afternoon & evening as the trees were really moving. Had some cable issues early today too. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Morning boys. It is 16 here and some breeze too.  No big plans here neither.  Was actually pretty nice right before sundown yesterday.  Should have had a fire then.  May happen today but maybe not.  We shall see how bad the wind is.  We went for a drive up to the lake and there were quite a few houses on the lake looking from Morris Point. Not much snow on the lake.  Boy the gray squirrels are running around like crazy here this morning.  Breeding time???   Have the bird feeders all filled up so the wild life is all happy.

Good morning campers. Looks to be another beautiful day. Starting the day with clear skies, not much wind and 21°. Not bad.
Went outside to do a few things. Got some traps getting a little rust on them. I stopped along the way to watch a couple of deer a few hundred yards to the south. That never gets old.
Wife is making a big batch of biscuits and gravy, fried taters and coffee. It may cause some discomfort later but it will be good.
      Stay safe everyone.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

I forgot to mention the two eggs, over easy on top of it all. Lots of Tabasco sauce, too.

Just got home from Hubbard Co. We did get 40 miles on the side by sides yesterday along with a stop at our favorite watering hole for a couple of long-necks. I did get 11.5 mpg with the 3/4 ton pulling the trailer/wheeler. Was happy with that. Time for eggs, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 19 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-30's. Wind has backed down substantially so that's a good thing. Waiting for the wife to get off the phone so we can get on with things here. I still need to make a FF run as the bird feeders are running low. Some days I feel like slave labor that bankrolls the sheep project. Need to exhale again.

Our thought & prayers to you both glenn. 🙏

Afternoon boys. The wind is still blowing here. But, we had a good time fishing. The last of the crew just took off. They all got to bring some fish home with them. So, now the wife and I are relaxing a bit. Then we need to go cut firewood and load the shed for the week. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  Happy Presidents Day to ya.  it is only 3 here but supposed to get up to 37.  Clear as a bell out so mayhaps the sun will warm us up.  If so the wife is ready for fire.  We did another chicken in the Ronco rotisserie.  It was 200 degrees when we took it out and it was so juicy and browned nicely.  Best chicken I ever had.  What a machine that is.  I need to head to town to pick up some stuff at the grocery store today.  Other than that it is fun as usual.  You have a good one.

Our second oldest son is a paramedic in the south metro, usually not Burnsville. Still i got concerned. I was sure glad to hear his voice when I called him yesterday morning.

Mornin' comrades! 19 at choretime heading for a high in the low to mid-40s. A lot of snow left yesterday with the promise of more melting today. With the bank & P.O. being closed today along with lord knows what else closed, not much going on. Need to make a feed run after lunch then get some sunflower & thistle seed. Had a set of twins born this a.m. Ewe plopped the 2nd one out standing up while we watched. Within a matter of 15 minutes both lambs were hooked on & nursing. Looks like it could be a busy week in that department judging by the appearance of udders, color, water consumption, etc. Should do some billing so better keep at it. Coffee tasting pretty good this a.m.

Glad he was OK too roony. The paramedic, Adam Finseth, is the son of one of the locals here. He wasn't so fortunate.

21 according to my farmer math. I got a loafing area & creep feeder set up yesterday so we can move them on thru relatively quickly, especially if the weather stays nice. Indications are that it will. February here was an absolute bastard last year. Cold and lots of snow on the ground most of the month. :coffee:
